My son attended this Goddard School for over a year, but he has moved to a different school. Overall, while there are some good individual teachers at this school, the administration is a nightmare. The owner, in particular, seems to prioritize money over the best interests of the kids. The lack of professionalism from the owner and the administrative staff is a real issue--many months they wouldnt even have basic things like calendars available, or their communications would be inconsistent. One time they sent out an email about having a "desert bar" ... and had it spelled that way multiple times, so it wasnt just a typo. Is that who you want responsible for educating your child? Aside from all that, our son was diagnosed with some speech and socialization delays during his time at this school and entered Early Intervention. Both of his EI teachers visited his school and told us for his personal needs and learning challenges, the environment at this school wasnt right. Once we found a new school that felt like a better fit, we wanted to move our son right away, but the owner refused to let us leave without requiring dues to cover the full 30 days written notice, despite the fact that the enrollment agreement allows them to waive fees and let a student go if it is in their best interests (and we had a verbal conversation about it over 30 days before we left). For comparison, the school he moved to would have let him attend a few weeks for free just to help us do what was best for him. I wasnt surprised other reviews on Greatschools that similarly echoed our experience--the teachers are mostly good, but the owner/admin staff is not. And with the high level of staff turnover at these type of schools, you are relying on the owner to continually hire good people and hold them to a high standard. I would not trust the owner of this school to actually do that, at all. Basically, I wouldnt recommend this school to anyone. If your kid is a follower and fits in to a crowd, theyd probably do fine here, but you can find better. If your kid is at all unique like mine, this school has been generally unsupportive and not helpful, especially compared to his new school where the teachers and administrative staff have really gone out of their way to figure out ways to help keep our son engaged and included. EDITED TO ADD: I in fact did contact Goddards corporate office a long time ago about my complaints. Aside from listening to my concerns and making sure they understood why I was so dissatisfied, they did not do anything to make the situation any better. So that was a letdown as well. Just another reason to find one of the myriad other great schooling options in the area rather than pick this school.

Our son has been in the infant room at The Goddard School on Swamp Road for 8 months. Both of the main teachers are newer there and they have been a wonderful addition to the infant room. They both have so much experience as moms and as teachers that it makes me very comfortable asking them for advice and opinions. I like to chat with them about my son when I drop him off, and they always take the time to fill me in on how hes doing. They greet him every morning when we arrive and seem happy to see him. I feel confident that theyre taking good care of him, and thats a very good feeling. Its also nice to have support as a breastfeeding mom since its quite a challenging task to continue providing breastmilk while working. The administration team has been a pleasure to deal with. The owner, director, and assistant director have been immediately responsive whenever I have brought up concerns in the past. They have taken my feedback seriously and my concerns were immediately resolved. In addition, they are friendly and greet us every morning and evening. Were happy to have chosen The Goddard School.

Wow!!!! Thats about how I feel daily taking my kids to this school. Every AM my boys say Hi to Chantel & Stephanie that greet them on the way in. They are in 1st steps so they scream & run to their classroom in anticipation. They get there and Ms Maria is awesome!! She gets them ready for breakfast and gives love and helps the kids. Then Ms Rachael comes... They run & hug her every time!! They play daily! My kids when I take them out and around same age... (Against all odds twin boys which I was told by neurologist they would be behind most kids growing up) well... Prove them wrong. They are 20 months and saying short phrases, understand commands, listen, help put up their toys, play nice. Just all around great boys! I had my kids at the Goddard in another town and had to pull related to ownership. Lisa, the owner, is beyond amazing and passionate about the kids!!!!

I was a bit worried when my son was in pre-k that I would have to hold him back. He is so smart and eager, however he just needed that small push from one teacher to unlock all his talents and abilities... that teacher was Mrs. Amy at the Goddard school in Doylestown off Swamp rd. She practiced writing so vicariously over the summer that my son has not only advanced academically, but now loves every aspect of learning and writing. In fact, he has now scored above average. If it wasnt for Mrs. Amy dedication to her students and her patience and passion for teaching. .. my son would not be at the level that he is at now. I wish Goddard has classrooms for first graders bc. I would keep my son here another year!! Thumbs up for Goddard and eso Mrs. Amy

Our son has had an amazing experience at The Goddard School on Swamp Rd., Doylestown. Every teacher from Get-set through kindergarten has been nurturing and facilitated a loving and safe environment. The growth socially and educationally that hes experienced year after year is phenomenal. Our son is quite bright and he has been continually challenged to learn more through programs like STEAM and SSR, but because hes having so much fun with Art, Yoga, music, Spanish class, etc. hes always excited for his school day. We will miss Lisa, Chantel, Stephanie, and the incredible staff as he moves into first grade in CBSD this year. Highly recommend this school for your little person! My son and daughter have both attended this school. The teachers are wonderful and the facility is very clean, well organized and provides for a caring, warm and educational home for the children. I especially love how they integrate culture and the arts into the program. My daughter was well prepared for first grade after graduating from Goddard and I feel confident my son will be as well. He has made some wonderful friends and truly enjoys going to school every day. After looking at many schools in the area, I feel confident that we picked the best one to begin their education.

My son has attended the Goddard School for a year now, and we have been extremely happy with the experience weve had. HIs teachers are both fantastic, and he has grown a ton both socially and academically. The school is clean, class sizes are small, and while the kids always seem to be having fun, the classrooms are calm and "in control." The owner is usually always present on site, and any concerns I have had she has addressed immediately. Both she and the other administrative staff have been very caring to my son and great to work with.
