This center used to feel like home away from home. I started working for Anne McKernan in August, 2011 in the infant room. Through the years, I was brought up front as the "Business Manager" even after Anne proclaimed to the director at the time that I would "never be her Business Manager". I was told I would get a raise when I came up front.... never happened. I was told when I started in 2011 that we would have medical benefits within 6 months. Its 2016 and she still doesnt offer medical benefits. Anne, as the owner, is verbally abuse towards the staff, then thinks its ok to say sorry, and that fixes it... until the next time. Recently, I was let go of my position after 5 years. She accused me of clocking myself in and out on days I supposedly didnt work, then processing payroll paying myself for said days. At the time that this supposedly happened, I had 136 hours of vacation time and 40 hours of sick time available to use as of August 28, 2016. When she told me this, I immediately told her that it wasnt true, and that she made that up, and that I over heard her talking with the new director, a friend of mine who I fought to get hired, telling her that she couldnt afford both of us and I needed to leave or she would have to "find a reason to fire me". She stared at the desk, never looked up from it to look me in the face. I gave her my keys to the center and left. This woman criticizes you for doing something, then when you change it to how she wants it done, criticizes you for changing it. She absolutely hates speaking with parents and will avoid doing so 90% of the time. She pushes the kids away, telling them to "get off of her" while trying to hug her and talk to her. Fundraisers are a joke. We once had a Joe Corbis fundraiser where we raised over $1000. She only claimed $394 of that money to TLE Corporate because she gave the rest to an employee (at the time) who fell on hard times and found herself homeless. Needless to say, that money never got used for the "2nd front desk computer" we were raising it for. Last but not least, A coworker and myself both failed a class in college because we were never "allowed" to leave on time to go. We missed several classes AND were late the times we were able to get there. Mind you, our class started at 6pm (with an hour commute during rush hour, sometimes longer) and my schedule was 6:15-3:15pm (my coworkers was 7:00-4:00). When I told Anne we failed for not being able to get there because she wouldnt let us leave, her response was "I have a business to run and this is your job so this is your priority. Besides it sounds like your school isnt really a true college. A real college would never do that." When I brought it to corporates attention, Nicole Quicks exact words to me were: "Dawn, figure out what you can deal with and deal with it. When you cant deal with it anymore, look for something new." This is an "Academy of Early Education" telling a manager and a teacher that getting their teaching degree/certificate isnt as important as their daycare job. Epic! Unfortunately, I miss the kids and the staff but I do not miss Anne, or her bi-polar multiple personality demeanor. My suggestion: if you are looking for a center for your child, find a different place. This woman will tell you whatever you want to hear to get you in the door. After that, all bets are off.

My son has been attending here for most of his almost 2 years of life. He is happy to go, he talks about the teachers and his friends with excitement, and waves goodbye to us at drop off! It is hard to leave your kids but TLE warminster makes it easier. I know they are providing great care, education, and fun activities!

Probably the worst staffed facility I have ever observed in my 20 years in learning support. Complete chaos & un safe. Utilizing my mandated reporting status to call the county.
