At first I felt bad about writing such a negative review, but after seeing Work Out Worlds 1.9 star review on Google I feel I should warn others about this place. I came in with my sister, a member of this gym, excited to bond with her at a Boot Camp session after work. She referred me on the gyms website and I was able to get a 5 day "free" pass and a free $10 Amazon gift card if you go to the gym within 72 hours. I printed out the pass and we carpooled to the gym-- about 15 minutes from home. My sister scans in and I talked to the boy behind the desk about the promotion. He asked for my license and disappeared to the back office for a minute before coming back and said something along the lines of, "My manager said youre from North Carolina, so in order to get a 5 day pass, its going to be $25." What? I explained to him Im a new resident to NJ and I havent gotten my new license yet. I offered to show him my pay stubs as proof of residency. He disappears once more to speak with the manager and said again how I had to pay $25 to get a 5 day pass. Keep in mind, a monthly VIP membership costs $30. I called over to my sister and explained the situation to her. She asked if because she was a VIP member, I could get in for free or at least at a cheaper rate. He checked the price for a 1 day pass and guess what? $25. Funny how you can get into this gym for 1 day or 5 days for $25 and 30 days for $30-- somethings not adding up. Not once did the manager come out to mitigate the situation. I asked the boy what I should do since I was not going to pay the fee for a 1 day or 5 day pass. He stood there dumbfounded and I ended up just telling my sister to go ahead without me. I drove back the 15 minutes home and Ill be picking her up again once her class ends. Do yourself a favor and chose a gym who actually cares about their members. Planet Fitness is right down the road, charges $15 per month, and has awesome reviews. Do not waste your money here-- after reading these reviews it looks like youll be charged up the wahzoo trying to get away from this place. Do not be fooled by the random 5 star reviews, as they are most likely by management and their employees trying to boost ratings on their horrible service. After 5 minutes of being in this gym, you too will be thinking WOW! I need to get the hell out of here.

Listen...I understand everybodys complaint about their cancelling process. But since Im not cancelling I think its a great gym. Big, bright open space with great maintained equipment and facilities. The cleaning people are always cleaning which is important to me. I pay a low monthly fee (much less than Ive paid for other gyms in the past) and the yearly maintenance fee though annoying is standard across the industry. People read your contracts! If you dont agree then dont join! I love the classes and I do them all. Love that its BTS and that they change routines every quarter. They do get crowded at peak times but the club offers plenty of class times. I do agree that their staff could be trained to smile and be more warm as well as just know whats going on. But its not a deal breaker for me considering the facilities and the price. Just started using the cardio theater and its great. I dont love the womens only area...it doesnt have the same warm bright energy the rest of the gym does. But the gym is big enough that you can find a semi-empty area if you want to be away from the boys. I sign my husband in once or twice a month to work out with me for free. We dont mind doing the paperwork, come on its name, address, phone and they photocopy his license. I imagine besides being a sales lead they need it for insurance reasons.

Ive been a member at WOW FOR 6 years. Are they THE PERFECT GYM? NO but there is NOOO SUCH THING 1. Im there 4 days a week and someone is ALWAYS CLEANING.. Its a gym people germs are inevitable but its def not dirty 2. The quality of people are stellar... Very diverse no assholes 3. More than enough equipment and they are okay with you using it in different stations (as long as you put it back) 4. They really seem to promote a culture of fitness and wellness 5. The space and energy in the gym makes you want to workout 6. Its affordable 7. Its centrally located!!!! Hamilton east Windsor robbinsville plainsboro bordentown Yes sometimes a machine breaks and it takes a week to get it fixed but all in all the gym is a pretty good one Id recommend it Now as far as cancelations go, my sister and I joined the gym at the same time she wanted to cancel because she moved they gave her hell but she got out of it.... In my experience in knowing people who wanted to cancel... My advice would be not to sign a contract for something you cant commit to.... Same with your cell phone you cant just break contracts ... After the year is up you can cancel anytime JUST BE SURE ITS SOMETHING YOU CAN COMMIT TO

I think it is odd that there is a maintenance fee once a year that is double your membership fee--um, isnt that what your monthly fee is supposed to go towards? Regardless, I do not think its a terrible gym, its certainly better than the Golds on Quakerbridge that I used to go to. My complaint would be that the classes are often packed and there are a minimum amount of yoga/pilates classes on weekends. Also, I dont use the main workout area where the weights are because its a boys club. Therefore I take advantage of the "womans only" part but I feel like we get the first-floor-reject equipment. For example, there are no staple workout machines like leg extension, hamstring curl, or cables yet we have a couple odd cardio machines that mimic in-line skating which I have literally seen used once in the nearly 2 years Ive been a member. In a tiny room, thats valuable real estate being taken up by those as well as useless stretching machines and TWO machines for inner and and outer thighs (even though 1 machine with an adjustment option can do both of those). I would have a lot of suggestions for equipment and space usage if they bothered to ask customers what they thought.

Come one come all! To this biggest display of douchebaggery you will ever experience! Become impressed with how incredibly low our standards are at this bottom line facility! First youll be greeted by our wonderful staff, often found not caring and not bothering to give simple hello. Then you will make your way through the facility, filled mostly with grunting teenagers and juiced out tough guys who hog the machines for an hour and a half while only doing one set every twenty minutes. Then, make your way upstairs, to our wonderful cardio section! You will be able to choose from over 30 machines in order to accomplish your goals, but good luck finding a working one! Middle aged and looking to improve your fitness level? Great! Let one of our weekend session certification personal trainers teach you absolutely nothing and charge you like its a celebrity boot camp! Once youre tired of all the nonsense we have to offer, we invite you to attempt to cancel your membership! Heres where our customer service department will kindly not oblige to anything at all and continue to charge you after you have cancelled your membership! This place sucks.
