i have been going to zigzag hair salon for about 6 years on and off. bc i have moved out of state i usually plan my haircuts around the time i will be visiting jersey. Im not the type that usually writes a review but im in my old stomping grounds and decided to call and make an appointment. So i googled the number and came across some reviews. Pardon me while I LMAO... I read the 1 star review and I remember being the girl that sat next to this woman while she was getting her bangs cut. I dont mean to judge but this lady walked in to the salon very off. She must have been going through something traumatic in her life bc it was reflecting in the way she was talking to the hair dresser. she explained one thing to the hair dresser and then would get upset when she received the exact same thing she asked for. Im telling you had i been the hair dresser i would have sent her home with a Mohawk just for being so annoying...lol. my mom was in the salon with me and as an older Latina woman that stays quiet for no one ... she yells out "well honey, your over reacting and i dont think anyone can get a haircut right on you"...lmbo Needless to say this 1 star is not reflective of the kind of work these artists do. i will travel all around the world and still find myself waiting to fly home so i can get to Zigzag and get my HAIR DID!

I went to Zigzag Hair salon to cut my bangs. I already had them.I just wanted them shorter. When the lady started to cut them she wasnt really paying attention. First she let them to long. I told her that I wanted them shorter. She cut them shorter but this time they were too short. I was upset, and the lady asked me what was wrong. I told her that my bangs were too short and her answer was "they grow fast". well now I look like a donkey and I could done something better myself. How incompetent can someone be!

Amazing talent, I got a great hair cut and highlights - she made sure I had a picture of what I wanted before she got to work and when it didnt come out how she expected, she corrected it, without me even asking. Im super happy and I love my hair :) (Not a cheap haircut, but professional and worth every penny)
