My wife and I were married on August 22, 2015 at The Excelsior Catering Hall and I have to say it was an absolutely wonderful affair from start to finish! They provided an exceptional menu of food which was served fresh, tasty and simply delicious. I was totally satisfied with the entire Excelsior staff from the owner, Victor, to the wedding coordinators, servers, waiters, waitresses, bartenders, cooks and valets. Our wedding utilized the entire facility including the Medallion Room (wedding chapel), the Atrium (glass cocktail room) and the Le Versailles Room (reception hall). All rooms where well prepared and breath takingly attractive to match our special day! In detail, following our wedding services in the chapel our guest were ushered into the Atrium for the cocktail hour, which looked stunning with the statued water fountain and ice sculpture. There were plenty of food stations throughout the room and our guest were offered a variety of different foods to enjoy. The bartenders easily handled our guest and the drinks were excellent. The servers were professional, pleasant and very attentive and treated everyone with exceptional service. There was so much food served during the cocktail hour my guest couldnt believe there was more to come at the reception to follow. The reception room was fabulous with its chandeliers sparkling with LED lighting and tables adorn in our wedding colors. There is a spacious dance floor with rotating party light senors which are really cool. The waiters and waitresses were pleasant and provided excellent service. Our dinner orders were served timely, the meals were hot and delicious. Desert included a scrumptious wedding cake and an ice cream self-service bar that was fun for all. Lastly, forget any nasty remarks you may have read from UN-invested individuals and listen to someone who has invested their hard earned monies to cater their event at The Excelsior Catering Hall. And Im telling you it is definitely worth your time to visit The Excelsior Catering Hall to plan your special day or event. I would do it again, but my wife wont let me re-marry...lol

So where to I begin? Warning this review will be very long because I am going to be honest. So when we first booked the Excelsior in 2016 for our wedding May 2017 happened to quick and my husband loved it. I loved the fact the had old trim within the halls which matched my wedding colors. But I wasnt still convinced after all the negotiating that it was the hall for us, there were a few things and repairs that needed to be done. I wanted something more brand new marble floor, and a roof top ceremony better parking space. We stayed with the Excelsior because of affordability and Victor assured us that maintenance would be done by our wedding, plus we had already put $5000 down which wasnt refundable. The package that Victor the owner gave us was amazing. We had both our wedding and reception there and the transition was very easy. We went from a 250 guest count wedding to 350. Victor made sure my guest was well taken care of, his staff set up was very spacious. All my guest gave us good report on the service. The food was good, the attendants was great. The cocktail room was packed, but everyone enjoyed the food. Everyone was well fed. Most of all we built an awesome relationship with Victor and he made sure we (bride especially) request and accommodations was met. It was a pleasure doing business with Victor. The cake company they work with did an awesome job with my wedding cake. The parking turned out to be well organized. There was valet and although there was another even taking place down stairs, they managed to fit all the cars.

This is a budget place. I am not knocking it. I have been to many low budget halls. However, this one hits an all time low. Every plate of the main course that came out was absolutely cardboard paper dry. I ordered the prime rib steak. The center of the steak was very pale and white. This only happens when meat is boiled. Restaurants do this to speed up the process and less cook time. It was the worst food I have ever touched. My wife had the chicken and it was horrible. I can not believe this place is in business. I was invited to a wedding there. Again I want to emphasize there is nothing wrong with a low budget place. I have gone to lower end halls however the food decent. Not like this place. I will never go to this place again unless I am forced lol. I dont get it! I truly felt bad for the people that was very hungry. The waitress was very nice but not half way knowledgeable with food, setup, where to place what. I was alittle at shock by everything. Oh also the uneven cut bread came out without receiving a basic small plate. A ways good luck.

My wedding went from a dream to a nigthmare!!!! the worse service ever!!!! I had my wedding on june 9th and they just ruined everything!! the 18% tip is not paid to the waiters he just paid them $50 a nigth I was charged $400 plu 7% tax 18% tip for a Capitan and never had one. my Coctel hour didnt have enough food and never ofered the butler passed hores to the guest!!!...some of them went home because everything was running to late!! ONLY 3 WAITERS!! to serve 3 different parties at the same time!!! Coke???? it was water with little bit of color, open bar....so bad, coctels were too bad!!! the only thing that saved my party was that I hired proffesional Djs,Photographer and Videographer, my advise. DONT MAKE YOUR PARTY AT THE EXCELSIOR" VICTOR only wants to collect the most money as possible and at the end dont give you anything as he promised!!! I HAVE A CONTRACT NOW I KNOW WHAT I GONNA DO!!! HE RUINED MY WEDDING AND IM NOT GOING TO LET IT GO! AH... MY NAME IS PAOLA and im very UPSET WITH THAT MAN!!

Hey I had my wedding here on April 24th 2015. The worst experience I had ever had. First our guest were not getting the drinks we were promised, then they told our guest after 10pm there was no more shots when we paid for open bar the whole night. Not only that, we paid a matired fee, he did nothing for us. We were supposed to have someone getting our drinks. My wife and I had to go the bar because we never got took in care of. The other thing is they never put out our favors, as well they never checked our cake to make sure the cake was right, it was black and I asked them 2 days prior to make sure the color cake was right. During our introductions to come in to the place the materd was in the shoot of the camera of when we came in instead of standing on the inside of the door, it was horrible, please dont give this venue any business. I hope the worst for the excelsior, how can ruin someones day like that????

I had my 40th birthday party at The Excelsior on July 3, 2016. The place is beyond the word unbelievable. The theme for my party was Elegant Forty; The Excelsiors atmosphere added more elegance to my party. The mirrors on the walls brought more glamour to my red carpet. The hall was spacious; the lighting impeccable. The catering was beyond amazing, the food was absolutely delicious. Its almost a week ago that I had this event, and people are still raving about The Excelsior and my birthday party. If you want a place that caters to your needs and pays more attention to Detail, The Excelsior is the place. And oh, ask for Sharon Chicas when you go. She is simply amazing and super helpful. I couldnt have pulled this Elegant Forty without the immense help from Sharon. Thank you Sharon and thank you Excelsior for making my day super memorable. This banquet place is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!
