My wife and I just got married at the Vanderbilt yesterday and it was absolutely amazing. The story about how we wound up at the Vanderbilt is one of luck working in our favor. When we were browsing around for a place to host our wedding, we were travelling from one venue to another and had some time to kill before the second appointment. We decided to stop in for the heck of it with absolutely zero intention of having the wedding there. Then, we met Sal and we couldnt believe how patient and flexible he was. My wife and I asked for a minute and we knew we were never going to make it to that next appointment. We signed the contract immediately and went home very excited. Over the next few months, Sal was there any time we had questions and he did a great job of keeping my wife calm when she thought we were behind schedule (we were actually months ahead of schedule). As the day drew closer, Sal helped us go over every single last detail with incredible patience and the right advice when we needed it. On the day of our wedding, the amazing service continued with Felix, the Maitre D, and Kellie the bridal attendant. My wife and I arent very demanding people (or so I hope lol), but they were there to take care of things before we even knew they needed to be taken care. It was amazing. Our entire bridal party was blown away by the level of service Felix and Kellie gave us. They simply didnt miss a single beat. It was amazing and made us feel like the most important people in the world. While my wife and I didnt get to interact with the other servers all that much, our guests have already started telling us how great they were, as well. I am absolutely floored by the level of service we received last night. Sal, Felix, Kellie and all of the other people we wound up talking to over the past year were absolutely amazing to work with. Sure, the hall itself, is beautiful and the ocean view making the room that much more breath taking, but the service is the real crown jewel at The Vanderbilt.

The decision to host our wedding here was the easiest one initially and turned out to be the best one. Even with my high expectations the level of service and quality of the food, drinks, and ambiance exceeded everything my husband and I had hoped for. The open bar was great, and the bartenders were awesome and kept the drinks flowing the entire evening. Over the months we had to plan for the wedding, Sal was there any time we had questions and he did a great job of keeping me calm and collective and assuring me it would all be ok. As the day drew closer, Sal helped us go over every single last detail with incredible patience and guidance when we needed it. On the day of our wedding, the amazing service continued with Felix, the Maître D, and Kellie the bridal attendant. They both were very helpful and took care of everything before we could even ask. It was amazing. Our entire bridal party was blown away by the level of service Felix and Kellie gave us. It was amazing and made us feel like the most important people in the world (of course we were for the day). Even our guests have already started telling us how great the rest of the servers were that they interacted with the entire evening. I am absolutely amazed by the level of service we received on August 1st 2015 at “The Vanderbilt”. Sal, Felix, Kellie and all of the rest of the staff were absolutely amazing to work with. The hall itself is beautiful and the ocean view making the room much more breathe taking, but the service can be compared to none at The Vanderbilt. Better than could possibly be advertised... theres really not a single thing we would change about choosing The Vanderbilt. I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a beautiful wedding venue! I intend to personally write the corporate office a letter complimenting the staff at the Vanderbilt for an exceptional job. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. Kwalah & Charles

On Saturday September 19, 2015, my husband and I had our reception at The Vanderbilt. I dont even know where to start, this place was AMAZING!!!! We worked with Sal throughout our planning process and he was EXCELLENT!! He made us feel like we were family. He worked with us in personalizing our menu from the cocktail hour to the first course to the main course. The staff was awesome especially Felix and Kelli. Kelli was my bridal attendant who was at my side the whole time. She helped with the photos and even bustling my dress!! She was on top of everything and we couldnt have been more grateful!! Felix our maitred was also amazing he worked with our photographer and DJ to make our experience a dream come true!! All of our guests were raving about the food, ambience and service. Believe me it is hard to please 175 people!! The wait staff here were more like guests they were taking pictures in the photo booth with my guests and making sure all of the guests were taken care of!! I definitely recommend this place to anyone and everyone!! I even told my husband that I want to have all of our parties and family functions here thats how much we loved it!! Thank you so much to everyone at the Vanderbilt for making our dream wedding come true last Wednesday. The staff was absolutely a pleasure to work with! Everyone was so friendly and professional. Sal was always a phone call away and ready to take care of anything we needed or wanted to change. The venue is spectacular and everyone was raving about how incredible our beach ceremony was. Felix, our matred made sure that our wedding ran smoothly and was always around to make sure we were having a great time, eating and of course not letting us cry too much! Kelly, my bridal attendant was always there to help me with anything I needed! I would highly recommend using the Vanderbilt for your wedding or any other event that you may have! It is the perfect combination of classiness with a wow factor and the staff was absolutely amazing!

Szeroka, piaszczysta plaża nad oceanem. Mało zatłoczona. Dobra infrastruktura podstawowa - bulwar w postaci pomostu drewnianego, zadbane toalety, wieże ratowników co 100 metrów ale należy pamiętać, że to jednak ujście rzeki i woda jest po prostu pełna śmieci. Plaża tak samo do zbyt czystych nie należy. Uwaga na opalanie : nie czuć że słońce tutaj mocno opala bo jest stały wiatr od oceanu. Efekt czuje się dopiero po zejściu z plaży, także ostrożnie ze słońcem. Warto tutaj przyjść ze względu na niesamowity widoku na Brooklyn i most Verrezano

Words cannot express how hard the staff at the Vanderbilt worked to make our event spectacular. My wife and I have used most venues on Staten Island and the Vanderbilt blew us away with their service. Sal and Felix the maître d bent over backwards at every turn.
