Bassett catered our wedding and they exceeded our expectations. First of all the food was delicious and the variety was impressive. We chose their stations menu, along with passed appetizers and dessert and our guests raved about how great the food was. Ive heard horror stories about wedding vendors, but Frank was responsive, clear, and helpful at every step from planning to tasting to payment. His on site staff were organized, polite, and attentive, checking in periodically throughout the night to make sure we were happy. And the prices were reasonable. The only thing I would say is that if you hire their bartenders and bring your own alcohol, stick to beer and wine. They made my dad a very strange martini that we all had a good laugh over, but if you have guests who are particular about this, best to stick with beer and wine or hire your own bartender. I highly recommend these folks for a stress free and highly successful event!

I catered from Bassetts Caters in December for my Christmas Party as well as in May for my 40th Birthday. I have to say the food was excellent with both orders. They delivered on time. The ordering was fast. They come to your home and set up the sternos and light them. They really couldnt make it an easier to throw a party and feed your guest. I highly recommend them. The staff is courteous, knowledgeable and even help you with ordering depending on how many guest you are having. My only complaint is the food is so good, you may not get any leftovers. lol Both of my parties, I have failed to get the chance to taste their appetizers because the food was gone so quickly. Everything really taste homemade.

We had our wedding reception at the Dumbo Loft for about 85 people on Saturday, June 24th, and we cannot thank Frank and the Bassett team for all of their hard work, and executing the entire evening flawlessly. Working with them (from the tasting to choosing the menu, the linens, etc) was so easy. They had everything under control, and we didnt have to worry about a thing. We are thrilled we went with them, and our guests are still raving about the food and service. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed everything - Frank was kind enough to make sure that as the bride, I had my own dish! Their pricing was also very affordable. We will be sure to use them for events in the future.

We had an outstanding experience with this caterer. They handled a church event wit 162 attendees with the greatest of ease. The food was varied and outstanding and the wait staff was extraordinarily polite. Even before the day of the event, they were terrific. Laura, from their office, provided expert guidance on selecting menu items and answering any and all queries. The wait staff arrived on time & the event was set up in advance of its commencement without any drama whatsoever. The food is of high end quality and the portion sizes are generous. Outstanding!

Bassetts Takeout: Best heroes in the area. Also very good hot food. Now they have pizza, which is good but not great. Bassetts Catering: The six foot heroes are good for parties. They offer many packages which are customizable or you can make up your own. For example, I dont like paying for salad so I ask them to omit it. Everything is delicious and delivered on time.

Just got married and Im so glad we picked Bassett. We were on a pretty modest budget and these guys worked with us a great price, gave us a great selection, met the dietary restrictions of our guests, and it was DELICIOUS. When your wedding features a sword swallower and a classic burlesque performer and what people rave about is the food, you know somethings right.

I work for a well-known Business in the area, and everytime i call to make our corprate order i speak to a snot-rag trash box woman. Who "Keeps no record of your order". The food over powers her nastiness, but service with a smile would be wonderful... Pick up... Dont Get Delivery if you can avoid it...

I order from this place every time I host an event. You can count on Bassett to deliver! Food is delicious. They package everything very well for transportation. Their customer service is great. They answer all your questions and most importantly, do not rush you when you place an order. AMAZING PEOPLE!

Catered New years eve party from here, great Italian food, big hit with my guests. Not cheap, but worth it. I also stop here about once a week for hit dinners to go and other takeout items. Very fresh cold cuts from the deli counter. Only downside is street parking is tough.
