Pros-Honest, quick, cheaper than pep boys, AAA center(which means they have to meet a high standard of service), Eric is the Lebron James of mechanics(can fix your car, lawn mower, vespa...then weld your fishing rack to your jeep...), Paulie oversees everything to make sure the customer is #1. They also fix bicycles and sell bike parts(tubes chains tires etc). Propane/ice always available for those summer parties. Cons- Pat doesnt work there anymore, which means friendly customer service isnt there anymore. You sometimes have to flag down the guys in the garage to get any kind of help. When Pat was there I was always greeted with a smile and he was able to break down my repair bill/costs. The new guy barely knows how to work the credit card machine. overall, Southern service completely eliminates the need to go over the bridge for any automotive needs. A+

This place is great. Theyre always open. Need a part late in the day on Sunday? The place is open. I came in on Sunday night looking for a replacement taillight bulb for my boat trailer. No problem, they had it and it was only $2. Another time, on the same trailer, the tire was wrenched off the rim. I brought in late in on a Friday night, they put it on the machine filled it up, no charge! The guys are always friendly and helpful. This is a great stop off to fill up your tires after Island Beach, free air. Need a bike tire or patch kit, they have it!

Im not sure what it is about Seaside Heights that makes everyone rude there but this place is no joke, without a doubt the worse place to do automotive business. The employees their are terrible with service good luck waiting around for 2 hours just to be told they dont have a piece in stock or the part to fix your car. On top of that, every employee their is just plain rude. To the owner,Paul, either close down or clean up shop

Complete rip off and incompetent! Charged me almost $500 for parts and service my car did not need and then it still would not even start! They kept it there for TWO WEEKS with all kinds of BS excuses of why they hadnt fixed it. Finally I had to have it towed to the dealer to have it repaired, which they repaired it in one day. I asked Paul for a refund and did not get it. I will be taking them to court.

My SUV was seemingly hopelessly stuck in the sand at IBSP. I called this station assuming Id need a tow. The gentleman I spoke to advised me to let the air out of my tires for traction on the sand, and he told me the exact PSI to use. It worked great, and I was able to rescue my dog off the beach without a towing charge. Really really appreciate the advice!! - Liz
