Just wanted to let everyone know what a great place to do business. Ill try to keep this short, but not sure I can. I had a transmission and brakes done at this place about 2-1/2 years ago. My trans had a 3 Year warranty on it. I brought in my car to have it checked out before the summer driving season when I usually drive to Canada for vacation. When Pat checked out the vehicle he noticed that the brakes were worn to less than 20% left. Pat replaced the pads at no charge (lifetime warranty), and I only had to pay for rotors (40% less than the dealer price). Heres the best part. When his techs scanned the vehicle for trouble codes, they found what they called pending codes for the transmission. Since there was only 6 months left on the transmission warranty, Pat, knowing my driving habits, decided to have the transmission replaced with a brand new one at absolutely no charge. I didnt even have a symptom yet, but Pat wanted to get this done under the warranty knowing I was going to be driving 3000+ miles this summer alone, Who can ask for more than that! All I can say is...have a broken car? Go to AAMCO in Asbury Park. You wont be disappointed! Have a happy summer!

I was on vacation and started having problems with my car. Warning lights, etc. I went to several garages after getting the engine checked by a computer. Everyone said I had problem codes that werent even found in the book. I became extremely upset. I had just found out my Visa card had been compromised back in my hometown, and I had very little vacation money left. It sounded like I was going to have to have it towed somewhere. I drove by this AAMCO station and stopped in and told the extremely nice man my problems and he said he didnt think it was as bad as I was led to believe. I dropped it off the next morning and they were kind enough to take me back to Ocean grove. An hour later I received a call that it was only a fuse!!! It cost $99.00 for the check up but so worth the terror I had been feeling. I came home joking I bought a $100.00 fuse!!! They were all so nice I could not believe it after all the places I had been. I go to Ocean Grove every year and while I pray I never have another car problem, I know the 1st place I would go if I did!! Thanks again!

I drive an F150 pickup with 217,000 miles on it. For quite some time, Id been having problems with my automatic transmission not engaging immediately. I was nervous everytime that I needed to pull into traffic, worrying about having an accident because my vehicle would not respond. I had no choice and needed to get my transmission repaired asap. I called AAMCO in Asbury Park, brought my truck in, they were able to diagnose the problem after doing a very thorough evaluation, called me back with the proposed cost for the needed repairs and I was able to pick my truck up by the end of the day. My truck now drives like its new! I have faith in and trust the folks at AAMCO of Asbury Park and best of all, the cost of the repair was very reasonable.

I recently purchased a dodge intrepid and it came with air conditioner problems when I bought it. Upon reviewing local mechanics to fix this issue I found AAMCO on Asbury Ave to have nothing but excellent reviews and decided to try them out. They worked with me and informed me on all their specials to save me money and in a very timely fashion had my car returned to me with working air conditioning. During my entire experience I dealt with the same person (Pat was his name) and he was extremely helpful and respectful at all times. In the future i will refer anyone looking for mechanic services to this AAMCO for their exceptional service and customer service.

My job is to drive. Im on the road constantly, so you can imagine my dismay when my transmission started acting up, and I couldnt figure out why. The guys at Aamco Asbury Park were unbelievable in explaining exactly what went wrong, and the plan of action to get me back on the road. They were flexible with me as far as holding my car until I was ready to pay for my services. I never felt pressured, or overwhelmed, rather, I felt well taken care of, and relaxed. These guys are awesome, and I am back on the road, worry free!

What a relief. When I found out that what I thought was a leaking oil drain plug was actually transmission fluid, I got scared. I took the car to Asbury Park Aamco because a mechanic years ago told me I could trust them and that was the place to go. Im very glad I did because the repair was just a few hundred dollars and not the transmission itself. Good thing I got it right over to Aamco before I did damage the transmission. Im very glad, I found someone who I can trust.

I was in the middle of moving into a new apartment and getting a cat neutered and my car was breaking down on a day when I REALLY needed it. I pulled into the AAMCO and through frustrated and stressful tears was able to tell the man at the counter that my car was stalling out. He was able to get my car rushed in and out in under 5 hours so I was able to get back to moving. I wont go anywhere else now. They were awesome!

I had a great experience at the AAMCO in Asbury park NJ. I didnt know why my engine light was on and drove in there right away they took my car in and diagnosed it for me. I made a appointment and for a reasonable price the job was well done and I would recommend this AAMCO to anyone.Besides being very friendly they are great mechanics. Thanks guys Ill be back

The repair was done great and in a timely manner. Mr. Infante was great to work with, he answered all of my questions. I drove my truck back to GA, and once I was there I had tires installed. They checked out my vehicle and said they could not even tell the transmission had been replaced. This was absolutely great!!. I highly recommend this AAMCO
