I wouldnt recommend them We were referred to Penyak by a friend of ours when we were shopping around for a new roof so under the recommendation we called Penyak. Kevin showed up and gave me an estimate. If you can get past his foul mouth the appointment went as expected. On the second visit to our house Kevin once again with his rude mouth reviewed the final estimate at that time Kevin proceeds to instruct me on picking up supplies short of picking up the shingles myself I was told by Kevin to buy the installation and all the supplies needed for the air vents. Now, this was our first time getting a roof what did we know? Per Kevin it was going to save us money The day of the installation the crew that should up was floored knowing I purchased all the supplies and of course didnt have enough therefore a crew member had to drive me to Home Depot to buy more! In the end I ended up spending over 800$ in supplies not sure how that saved us money. What I will say is the craftsmanship was amazing that crew worked all day and left us with a beautiful roof. Now the sales part was horrible Kevin was inconsiderate, extremely unprofessional and rude. A reputable company like Penyak who has been around for years you would think they would send someone who is technically the first face of the company who is professional and is going to leave a good impression not a horrible impression.

Before seeking a roofer, I asked an engineer what a roofing contract must include. A few items were: 2 rows ice/water shield, drip edge, ridge vent, mfr warranty, clean-up, gutters/leaders, shingle specs, step & counter-flashing and a labor standard. Penyak is the only roofer whose first contract proposal included every single item in writing. It was so impressive, I waived my engineers oversight and inspection. Penyak even pre-ordered the skylights and had them on site before they would start the job. A crew of 12 showed up. They first protected my screen porch, plants and shrubbery and in barely 1/2 a day, they had my 2 roofs off, bad plywood replaced, and the new roof installed with every loose piece of debris gone. Another roofer I considered declined the job and said he would have to pay his attorney $1,500 to review the specs my engineer required. Penyak never knew I consulted an engineer, as his initial written offer included it all. Great job; great integrity. I appreciate they waited to start the job until everything was on site. When I added that clause to my 2nd choice roofer, he declined the job.

i had a bad roof leak with water going into the attic and down into my kitchen ceiling. these guys came and gave me a quote, which i thought was a good price, so i went with them. they fixed the roof and sent me the bill about a month later, which i found surprising that they gave me that much lead time to pay. several months later, i noticed there was still some water leaking into the attic during a bad storm, but we are talking about several drops and not a waterfall like it was before. i also noticed a new leak at another part of the house (not the part they worked on before). i called up penyak and asked them to come back to fix the old problem and also for a quote on the new leak. they immediately fixed the old problem again and because of the "inconvenience" they caused me, they told me they would fix the new leak for free because it was a small issue! everything is fixed and i am very happy. these people cant be any nicer!

My father used this company to roof his house and my grandfather before him. I took my fathers advice and hired this company to do my roof. Not only did I get a more than fair price the workers were professional and did an excellent job. The job came out better then I expected. My father passed away and my mother had a discoloration with her roof that turned out to be a timberline roofing defect. Not only did this company contact timberline for the warranty but they went the extra mile to repair the roof cost free and billed the supplier. I wanted to thank Mr Penyak personally so I left him a message and stopped by his office to thank him. Not only is he a honest person but a excellent business man. He was kind courteous and helpful. It is nice to know there are a few honest people out there and he is definitely one of them. God bless this man.

I can not comment their workmanship but I am very unhappy on their follow up skill. Kevin came out to look at my roof and told me me within a week Joe the owner can give me a quote on the repair work and a quote on the entire roof. Week went by & I called them to see when will it ready told me they will get it for me tomorrow. Another week went by still no quotes, called them again left them message ask them to email it to me & also email them, a month went by now still no estimate. How can I depend on a company that can never give me price for the job or simple follow up with their clients? I dont think my job is too small or hard to do I need repair a leak & replace the entire roof on a ranch! Actually someone recommend me to use them.....Very disappointed

Our new roof looks great! The price was reasonable and the guys were terrific. The office staff and Kevin were super. We looked at their brochure and had a few options in mind. They provided us with several homes in the area, with the selections that interested us. We decided on charcoal grey and couldnt be more pleased. A perfect choice. They helped us out with downspouts and gutters as well. We have a very large area and they had to remove two roofs first. They completed the roofing job in one day!!!. Cleanup was thorough - no nails or debris on the property. I highly recommend Penyak and appreciate their workmanship and efficiency from the first phone call to the last nail!

My experience with Penyak Roofing was great. In February I called for an estimate in an emergency because our roof was leaking in several places and they were predicting more rain later in the week. Not only did Joe come out that day, but he promised to finish the job before it rained again. When they came to do the work the next day, the small crew completed the job that day. They used top quality materials and reduced the overall number of seams as compared to the preexisting installation. Long story short, they did a better job than the previous roofer hired to install this roof. I would hire them again if I needed to and would recommend them to anyone.

Wow. They left their dunpster IN THE MIDDLE OF MY DRIVEWAY from Saturday, through EASTER SUNDAY! And never specified when they will be picking it up. Its now Sunday night and I have no idea if Ill be able to get out of my garage (which is entirely blocked by their dunpster) tomorrow. I have never felt more disrespected by a company before in my life. As far as the roof goes it is fine. Its a roof so I cant imagine it being very different between companies. They did work quickly too, but that doesnt nearly make up for the act of leaving a dumpster in the middle of the driveway for an entire weekend. Overall, I would NOT recommend.
