Ive taken both my cars here a few times for simple maintenance to avoid dealership prices (oil changes, anti-freeze flush, flat tires). The guys there are super friendly, so its really the service and lack of attention to detail that has pushed me away from going back. Every time I took it there, something happened that made extra work for me. Theyve left crud all over my steering wheel, which I reported (not a big deal). They were unable to change a flat because the wheel lock stripped, so I had to get the wheel locks removed (an inconvenience, but in the end no ones fault). More recently, they gave me an oil change and didnt put the new oil filter on correctly. It leaked and I was stranded in the middle of route 80 with an infant in the back seat. I spent about $100 on the oil change with STS, $32 in oil to get it the rest of way to work. And another $50 to get it to the dealership after work. Then the dealership charged me another $175 for the oil change and new filter, clean up and labor fee. So in the long run, I spent over $350 for an oil change. I called STS and let them know something was wrong with the car, and they wanted me to bring it back in. I didnt trust them to look at it again, which is why I decided to bite the bullet and take it to the dealership. So hard finding a place that is affordable and reliable.

Ordered a tire on Saturday was told it would be in on Wednesday called Wednesday morning was told the tire was in but they couldnt install it until after 2pm called at 2pm and they told me it would be better to come Thursday so I went there the next morning and after waiting for an hour they told me the tire had disappeared but if I came back Saturday the tire would be here and installed and the would throw in a free oil change called Saturday and no tire but they would call me when it was in but never got a call back anyone considering using them do yourself a favor and DONT!

These guys are very nice, and competitively priced. They put new tires on both our cars this past year and did a great job on both. Even if we have little things go wrong they always make it right. A couple years ago they backed into my wifes car while it was parked there. They immediately called us, and sent it in to the body shop to fixed.

My husband took his car for an oil change, tune up and a new tire. Within a week his check oil light came on. His car then started to make an awful noise. After 3 weeks he took his car somewhere else . His oil was so low his engine almost seized. So mavis obviously WAS NOT changed but was charge for it. So unsettling!!

My car was acting up and a few people suggested using these guys. Gary at STS was great, not only did they get the car done when they said it would be done, but they also fixed another minor issue I wasnt even aware of without charging me! I would highly recommend these honest and timely people for your car repair issues.

Had new tires mounted, balanced, and an aligned. Pulled out of the lot and my back right wheel was banging and wobbling. Pulled over to look and they didnt torque that wheel at all. Could have literally fallen off while driving. Mistakes happen, but this is inexcusable.

Dropped my car off and was told they would replace 2 tires in one hour. Was dropped off in 1.5 hours and they had not started the job! 2 hours later they finished. Not professional will not be back.
