Recently, my husband and I had taken Katelin to visit a couple of schools for options for First Grade for 2013. At both schools we visited the teachers and administrators that we had met with were genuinely impressed with Katelin’s current education level. In each classroom we visited Katelin was able to quickly identify letters, words, days of the week, months etc…; especially impressive was Katelin’s knowledge of Spanish which had impressed the Spanish teacher in each school as Katelin quickly identified the numbers 1 – 10 and recited them in Spanish; she was disappointed to learn that neither school offered sign language as that is her favorite subject; she even demonstrated to the teachers the many words she knows how to sign. At each school I was asked several times where Katelin currently goes and if she is currently in Kindergarten (probably since we were looking at 1st grade), she is currently in Yellow Cubs; each time I responded that she is in Rainbow Academy, I received nothing but glowing praise for the school and echoes as to how well prepared the children coming into first grade were both socially and academically. I believe that these administrators were further impressed by the availability of extracurriculars that are offered and that Katelin takes part in; most of which aren’t offered in their own schools. I know that I have said in the past how happy I am with the education level that you provide; to hear it from other schools and see the impression that a pre-K student can make on a first grade teacher, reinforces that Rainbow Academy is an exceptional school staffed with well qualified teachers. Thank you for providing my daughter with such a well-structured and diversified educational experience. I also have my youngest in Pink Elephants and am thrilled to see all of the same teachers that Katelin had four years ago still there. Morgan loves Rainbow as much as Katelin does! We couldnt have chosen a better place for our girls. Andrea

This is the best daycare for my daughter hands-down. I worked for over nine years at Sesame Street and along the way have learned a lot about infant and early childhood development, so I knew exactly what I wanted and didnt want in a preschool for my baby. I visited over 10 very highly-rated daycares in the area (Westfield, Cranford, etc), most of which had long wait-lists and price tags at least $200 a month over what Lightbridge in Woodbridge charges. But for infant care, this place is second to none. There are always enough teachers to ensure that the teacher to baby ratio doesnt go over 1 to 3. Moreover, the teachers had been there years - some of them for 13 years! These are dedicated professionals who love working with infants and know exactly what theyre doing. When your baby is so little, familiarity and routine are key, so the low-turnover is really important. In some other pricier or newer daycares, I saw young teachers in the infant class on their phones. In one school they actually had a tv in the babies room! Here, youll get nothing but experienced teachers caring for and getting to know and love your baby. Plus, they engage the babies in activities you might not think of doing yourself. At age 4 months she was painting in art class and listening to the visiting guitar guy! My transition back to work was so smooth because I knew that she was in a classroom and a center that was dedicated to excellence in care and communication. I always knew what was happening in her class and in the school. Now she has graduated to the mobile baby class and I see the strong educational and developmentally-appropriate things that she is doing in class, and Im so grateful. I cant recommend Lightbridge of Woodbridge highly enough!

My husband and I love Rainbow Academy. We believe we have chosen the best possible school we could have for our daughter Alaina who is now 7 months and has been in attendance at Rainbow Academy since she was 3 months. Communication is always open, even though our child cannot do as much as the older kids her class is always included in all the activities as the rest of the school. One of the perks I love is receiving the monthly newsletter along with pictures of our child. The parent view camera also gives you piece of mind that anytime of the day you can log in and see your child, as well as call whenever you want to connect to your childs class. All of the staff is friendly and always greets you with a hello and smile! I know my child is in good hands and I wouldnt have it any other way. She will attend this school until she is too old attend anymore. KUDOS to the Pink Elephant Room!! Ms. Maria and her staff (Ms. Summer, Ms. Debbie, Ms. Nicki, and Ms. Laura!)
