I dont understand how anyone could say this place was clean? I found it to be the dirtiest Shop Rite that I have ever been in. I just moved to the area and was living not far from there store in East Brunswick and you wouldnt believe they are the same chain! The prices here are between 30% to 50% higher! Its filthy and other than the pharmacist (who was very efficient, courteous and helpful) I believe her name is Anita. She seems to really care about her customers/patients and goes out of her way to help them. She makes sure to have your medication in stock and she goes above and beyond what other pharmacists do. Which is very rare to find these days and is much better than any Rite Aide, Walgreen or CVS I have used since moving back to NJ. All the rest of the staff, were rude and extremely unhelpful! My husband bought a cabbage and when I opened it look like something had been eating it. I didnt even want to use it! I ended up getting a recipe from a friend for unstuffed cabbage so I could pealed off the outside until I get down to were it didnt look like it wasnt eaten by God only knows what! In all the 40+yrs I have been going to super markets, this one was the worst by far! I dont care how much it will cost us to get to another market but I cant stomach the thought of getting our food there! If its so filthy out were the food is, I would cant imagine whats running around in the back! I am going to report them to Health department! I have never have even thought to do that anyplace else I have ever shopped! To add insult to injury not only are the prices high but there select is extremely limited! I couldnt find half the things I was looking for! I think I will also have to write to complain to there main office. I wouldnt give them any stars but you have to give them atleast one to write a review, SO NO STARS AND THEY SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES!!! I wont be shopping for food there anymore because even the outside was filthy. I am sure they have vermin running around inside and out! Think about it, would you want to eat or feed your family food that looks like a rat was snacking on it? Just the thought makes me sick!

I do not know how to give NEGATIVE stars but this dump certainly deserves them. In their meat section, you will find brown rotting meat, hidden on the bottom for unsuspecting shoppers to purchase. In their produce dept., you will find bad, over-ripe and rotting fruits. The price they charge for their garbage is ridiculous. Do not be lured by their advertisements of "low prices".Most of what you purchase must be throw in the garbage because that is all it is good for. So you are wasting your money at Shoprite, not saving anything.DO NOT shop at Shoprite in Woodbridge because they clearly do not care about their customers. They will sell them any trash they they can get away with. The owners of this store HAVE NO SHAME. It is the worst store I have ever been in in all of my life and I have been in alot of stores. I would not go into this store if ;they were giving their garbage away. Lets work together to put Shoprite in Woodbridge OUT OF BUSINESS. They have NO business being in business. BOYCOTT this store.

PITA Store is large, good selection, smallish carts, biggest problem is it is too popular, not enough parking, not enough cashiers. It is rarely ever worth the hassel of having to idle along tagging behind all the customers going in and out to get the free parking space 200+ feet away. That is of course unless you like stalking people for some closer space where you can stuggle to get goods in/out with so many people parked crooked etc. Then theres the joy of trying to get out of the space as the droves of people slowly creep past your car. Ive always gone between 10am and 2pm and that is what Id deal with, Id much rather go elsewhere than bother with this place. It has gotten worse, more people shopping here, over the years. Time for a new store Shoprite.

Jamie did a super job during my order! I needed to pack my groceries in a consolidated manner since I was getting a ride back from a driving service; Jamie was an excellent packer; she packed the groceries very efficiently, bagging the frozen items together in my insulated bag; she stacked the perishable items in a way they would not get crushed, she bagged my groceries as if they were her own! The bags were packed firmly, did not move around in the drivers trunk; she did a better job than I ever could have done. And she moved at a steady, efficient pace. Thank you, Jamie, for your help and dedication. Shap-Rite is lucky to have you as one of their cashiers!

The Shoprite worker, Kristen, who works at the olive section, obviously has no idea about customer service. Her unpleasant attitude towards us yesterday was totally unacceptable. She needs to go thru a training on how to approach customers in a professional way. I informed the cashier lady and TJ about this incident. I enjoyed shopping at this store up until yesterday; however I will give them a 1-star rating, because the management failed to give its employee proper training about customer satisfaction. I have considerably reduced my shopping at this store.

I was in the store at twelve-thirty at the deli asked for four different items to be told they were out of each one. the last manager would once in a while run out of one maybe two but never four. this new manager is incompetent.... this is my second complaint so today is my last visit to this store because when Mr Caufield was there we had very few problems this is the new manager and his staff of new department heads I will go to Foodtown, Pathmark, and A&P your loss....... all the reviews are two or three years ago WHY??????????

I would give 0 star to this shoprite. Manager was extreamly rude. I went with my aunt to get oil with $10 purchase. We did different orders for both of us and manager rudely said we can not get it because we came second time. Without proving, how can she even blamed tht we came second time. No one has time to go to 100 times in a day. They have no respect for customer.

whoa, did we really need to read your entire life story on here? just say the management isnt fair to its employees b/c of personal experiences... couldnt you have called some sorta agency to report these things? im sure it wouldve been better to do that than complain on here. im about to move to the area.. is this place busy? how is their produce?

Store has a nice layout. However the parking lot has no spaces for families with young children and I often have to walk to the front of the building to get a shopping cart instead of having carts throughout the lot. Sometime they dont have enough staff working the registers during the day and the wait time is long.

The white guy with the beard at the bakery department is lazy as rest of the staff is , everytime I order a cake Ahead of time or chocolate covered strawberries they always charge me double and always have excuses not to make anything for me . The manager needs to really have a talk or replace theyre employees
