Lots of reviewers are complaining about the drivers and packages not coming but Ill write one for the customer care center, which is what this place is. I got great service there. And they dont charge the markup the UPS Store (an identity separate from UPS) does. So the prices are much more reasonable. I shipped a 60lb laser printer from here to Omaha for less than $60. It got there fine. The customet counter hours could be better (at this writing, 10:30-6) and the location is hard to find, behind a row of buildings. BUT... the gals at the counter (guys too) knew what they were doing and even offered to help get the item to the counter (I did it myself). But I have no problems with the customer service counter whatsoever. They do their jobs and were friendly. Dont go to the UPS Store, which is a private entity separate from UPS. Come here. A bit more inconvenient but worth the massive difference in price. They wont try to sell you bubble wrap and a $20 box to ship a $10 item here. Save your money for better things and come here to the customer care center.

Shippers beware! ups deliveries suck a--. they dont ring door bells or try knocking but leave dumb notes sayin theyll be back the next day to deliver a package requiring signatures if they dont already have your package stuck at some local dumb center you now have to drive to to retrieve the package YOU paid for delivery and thats if, a big "IF" they can even locate it! Again, shippers beware. GO WITH FED EX. Screw UPS! To SHIP THINGS OUT via a UPS mini store is a cinch if you go to one of their franchised UPS stores but whos to say, the recipient will get their package. Last time, SHIPPERS BEWARE and know what you and the recipent are paying for going with UPS. Go with the professionals, go with FEDEX!!!!!!!!

After I noticed that UPS had failed to deliver a package to me on Friday, I did my best to get in touch with them to pick it up at an alternate location. I called and was told that this UPS Center would give me a call once the truck returned so I could get my package. To be positively sure, I WENT to the location and CONFIRMED they would call me when the truck returned, even if it was after closing (6 P.M.). Now it is Saturday, the UPS Center is closed, and I have not received a call. I cant get my much-needed package this weekend, and theres nothing I can do about it.

Had an item to ship on Wednesday, August 16th, that, due to its nature, could not be shipped at one of the UPS stores. So, with great anxiety, headed down to UPS Customer Center on Seventeenth Street, around 1:30 pm. While I did not obtain the name of the agent who helped me with my parcel, I know if I ever need to drop by the Center again, Im going on a Wednesday afternoon, and hope she is on duty....could not ask for a more knowledgeable and helpful individual.

Use anyone but UPS they are really bad. Will even leave your package at another address because they are SO LAZY!!!!! Paid for 5 day shipping and still waiting 14 days later.
