You never get a second chance to make a first impression. I called this salon to make an inquiry. The young lady that answered the phone was anything but prepared to provide even the most basic customer service. She gave one-word answers when it would seem necessary for her to expand on her answer. Her speech was lazy and unaffected. When I asked the price for a service, she answered, "I have to see it" (meaning, my hair). I then asked if the price is determined by the length of the hair. All she said was "no". When I further inquired about a price range so that I could be prepared when I come, she answered, "Im not the owner. Im just here. The owners not here". Thats when I hung up. If it was necessary for her to see my hair to determine what the cost would be, then I would assume that she would also know the minimum price. If I go by this young ladys logic, it would seem that she could pick any price based on some arbitrary determination after "seeing" my hair. Maybe this business is not concerned with providing higher level customer service or is not aware that it should. But this particular consumer is very concerned with receiving even the most basic customer service, and will not patronize any business that does not show any level of appreciation for consumers calling to make inquiries. You would think that in this day and age with all the ways that consumers have to make their feelings known, that businesses would take care to ensure that their business is always represented in a positive light.
