I hate to write bad reviews but unfortunately I feel like I have no choice. I usually go to the barber located in the same plaza as Sears Hardware (not going to name the business because I dont want people to think this is a shameless plug for them but they are right next to the laundromat and do fantastic work). I planned to go there after work but I got held up and didnt make it in time. I decided to try out another place, especially considering it would be nice if I found a good place that had hours that were more accommodating to my work schedule. I gave this place a try. First, I was turned off right away because they immediately collect your personal information (name, address, phone) and enter it in the computer the second you walk in the door. I have no doubt this is for marketing purposes and I will either be receiving a bunch of junk mail and/or telemarketing phone calls in the very near future. Then, I sat down to get my haircut. The woman who was to cut my hair was (Im guessing) late 30s to early 40s. She was a bit talkative but very nice. The second she started to cut my hair I knew I was in trouble. The clippers she was using were similar to the kind you can buy in K-Mart or WalMart with the plastic attachments. I actually have a beard trimmer very similar to the one she was using. It felt like she had very little experience in cutting hair and kept saying several times how certain areas of my hair "didnt look right." I had initially asked for just a trim and to have the back and sides faded and neatened up. It was a slow, painful process and the more she kept messing up she just kept saying "I think it needs to be shorter" which she had to to to fix her mistakes. In the end my hair was pretty bad. It was shorter than I wanted. If that was the only issue Id be happy but the back and sides are a mess. Its very choppy and looks like I paid my college roommate $5 to cut my hair. Certain pieces stick up. My hair is very straight and the mistakes stand out a lot. I have to use a ton of hair gel to try to cover it up. My normal barber usually has me in and out in about 5-10 minutes tops and they cut my hair with the precision of a surgeon. This took much longer and felt more like an experiment gone bad. I sincerely do not want to just trash a business for no reason. I am doing this because I hope to help someone else avoid this situation in the future. Again, the staff was friendly and nice but that was never the problem. Use extreme caution when considering this place for a future haircut.

Why so many Negative Nancys on here? Jeez. If you want a $300 haircut, go to a $300 salon. My experience was as follows: Last minute on Thursday evening I remembered I desperately needed a haircut. Walked right in, they take some info (its 2013, all businesses do...Im sure you can decline but I didnt) and was seated right away. Megan cut my hair, did a great job, and I was super happy with the results. I was in and out in about 20 minutes. Im a 34 year old guy, so while I care about my appearance, I dont have hours to dedicate to a haircut. I like the fact that its walk in, its fast, and its affordable. People were nice. Really, I think the internet has made it so impossible to operate a business because of anonymous people and their anonymous nasty reviews that I felt compelled to share my experience. If youre expecting a magazine cover detailed cut for under $20, its not out there anywhere. But if you are a regular person who needs a haircut, done well, quickly and courteously in a nice environment, go ahead and try Great Clips.

Worst haircut of my life, completely uneven and when I said something he said its because you part your hair on the side ?! What?! Really, I am not a hairdresser but that doesnt make sense to me. He did not touch my bangs and when I said something he was like oh yeah. Also he was very rough and hurt when he combed my hair. I had to go home and trim the crooked pieces myself. I have been a customer for quite awhile but I will not be back.

They do such a great job, excellent customer service. Roland is always entertaining. Their prices are average. They only cut hair. Make sure you check in online first, as they are always busy. I would definitely recommend them.

They seemed very all over the place. New people maybe, but gave my step son the wrong hair cut. Good thing hair grows
