What can I say? Joe is a master. And all his staff are friendly and professional, the atmosphere is upbeat and cheerful. My hair is happy Update- its been many weeks and my hairs quality has changed- it used to be dry and brittle , kind of like a frizzy Barbie doll hair, and since my cut its been lush and heavy. What on Earth Joe did to my hair I cant understand- would a good cut balance the oil production or something???!!! The first week I thought it must be the conditioner during the shampoo or a serum during cut, but no .. wash after wash using the same shampoos I always did, my hair is radically healthier. Thank you Light Salon!!

I dont typically write reviews , even though hypocritically so, I do read them on some occasions. I was referred to this salon by a friend, read the rave reviews about Joe and must say, my hair came out better than I ever expected. Yes their prices are very reasonable, but in a sea of hair salons charging for every bit of service provided and leaving you broke and unsatisfied, it is refreshing to get more than you bargained for. I will be back, again and again and recommend this salon over any other! Special thanks to Joe and his team!

Terrible customer service, it appears none of the employees speak adequate english, and after waiting 20 minutes (as told by the hairdresser), they were still serving other customers and ignoring our presence. After spending another half hour to an hour on the tiny waiting couch, we gave up on a single mens hair cut and went across the street. Highly dissatisfied. I wouldnt recommend to anyone, male or female, and I found absolutely no evidence that they had "fast service" as other reviewers have mentioned. Completely the opposite.

Great service. In the at least two years Ive been going there Ive only had to wait one time. The hair washing experience is like none other, relaxing and wonderful!! You never feel rushed and are always taken care of with a smile.

One of the woman hairdressers is very rude, short-tempered and cant fulfill simple requests without rolling her eyes.
