The owner talks to customers extremely disrespectfully. Today, a woman came in at 5pm for a perm. Lopez takes its last customer at 5:30. Roma, the owner, blasted the woman for coming in "at the last minute." I was embarrassed for the customer. In addition to this, the hair stylists constantly make fun of their customers in Spanish, assuming that their customers have no clue what they are saying. The owner is incredibly disrespectful so her employees follow suit. Roma has forgotten that she needs customers in order to have a salon. There are tons of Dominican hair salons around Brooklyn. Id recommend going to a different one. PS: Ive been a customer of Lopez for 10 years, and I am absolutely through with them. The only pleasant stylists are Janet (lovely woman) and Kathy when shes in a good mood.

I only liked going to Lopez because of the Hair stylist that did my daughters hair. They were never organized or even seemed to Care about the customers. The last time I was there I was standing for 25 minutes waiting for someone to wash my hair and no one even cared to say sorry for the wait. It got to the point were more people came waiting and waiting still nothing. They dont greed u or even have eye contact with u. Its like we should be honored to be in there store. I cant tell people were they should go but if you like to wait a long time and dont care about customer service then be my guest and get your hair done there. I wish them all the best.

I had a great experience at this salon. I wanted to have a keratin treatment done for the first time. Roma(hair stylist)explained to me the process of applying the treatment and the upkeep I should do. She warned me that it would be expensive for me to get this treatment done because I have a lot of hair, in which they charge based on the amount of keratin treatment they apply. However, she gave me a discount on the price. I am very pleased with the outcome of my hair, she did a great job! I am definitely coming back for my weekly wash and sets. I would recommend this salon to anyone who wants healthy hair and the best quality of service

Ive been going to this hair salon for the past 6 years. I have nothing but great things to say about this amazing place. The stylists makes you feel right at home. Roma, the owner makes you feel very comfortable. Around the holidays, she throw parties to show appreciation to her clients.She is a very warm person. The service is terrible there. The employees are all doing each others hair and when you go to any of them they make it seem like you are bothering/interrupting them. They are more pleasant to those that are Spanish. I dislike the fact that they are always talking to one another in Spanish and often times talking about customers. There were a few times when I have heard them talking about me in Spanish thinking that I dont understand them because I am fair-skinned. They shouldnt do that especially you never know who can speak/understand what is being said based on their looks/skin tone.

I have been coming here for over two years now. The staff is so efficient. I never have to wait for services. Even if your stylist is busy, there will be several others to take care of you to make sure youre not waiting long. And the owner, Roma, is very hands on. Janet is my primary stylist and she works wonnotice my hair. My hair has grown longer since Ive been coming here and everyone notices the difference. Its full of bounce and volume. And all at a very reasonable price! I highly recommend this salon!

A solid 4 stars. I read the reviews and I didnt feel like I was treated badly at all, they were very nice and did their job. However the wait time is ridiculous. Maybe because I went on a Sunday, I would like to see how it is during the week. My wait for a wash was an hour and a half, the wait for a dryer was an hour and the wait to get someone to blow my hair was about an hour 40. Wasnt impressed, it was just a regular blow out. I liked it though, for 25.00 it did the job.

Disappointed is not the word. Very unprofessional is closer. These hair stylist try to convince all ethnic people they need perms because they want easy money. Also, very rude, bad service, and super judgemental. How do you tell the customer a price for a hairstyle you cant perform. Then to tell you to get a change of hair style because its better for them. Horrible..run fast

I have been a client at both Salons for many years and have had excellent service. Roma is very accommodating and is a master at cutting and styling hair. The employees are pleasant and skillful at what they do. The Salon is clean and a pleasant environment. No complaints.

They are very rude and disrespectful like you owe them something.. Its so close to my house and I rather drive to Queens to Joany its a shame ! The speak about the clients in Spanish not knowing if they are even Spanish speaking !! This place is no Bueno ✋

Worst experience ever...I told the lady I wanted my hair washed blow dried and flat ironed and she only flat iron one section of the hair...As a result when I took it out the wrap to go to school the next morning it looked sloppy.

Worst hair salon ever. They have nasty attitude, bad service long wait for a bad hair cut. They gave me the stink eye (rude). I walked out without finishing my hair. Thats how upset I was.
