I had a fabulous experience yesterday at Salon Kokopelli in Brielle, NJ. I decided to treat myself to a relaxing afternoon of beauty treatments to combat the holiday stress. I started with a mani-pedi done by Audra. Having never met her before, I was pleased to find she was personable, professional, and extremely accommodating. Her goal seemed to be making me comfortable and informing me of helpful products and upcoming specials which suited my needs (Hello, "Naked Pedicure"- great idea for the winter!). Then I moved onto a facial with JessMarie. It was just what I needed- rejuvenation for my tired soul and skin! JessMarie also was extremely professional and her attention to detail (ex- small dish for my jewelry, pre-warmed bed) made me comfortable immediately. She asked a few questions to determine my exact needs and tailored the facial for me. It included a scalp-decolletage-arm massage that made me forget the running around Id been doing all month. She also informed me of upcoming specials which interested me in a casual, helpful, not at all pushy way. I finished it off with a shampoo and blow out with Jessica which was great. I have curly hair, but Jessica considered the rainy weather and selected specific products to use on my hair to deter the dreaded frizz. She had a soft touch with the brush and a friendly, yet not overly chatty demeanor while I was in her chair. Overall, this is a warm, welcoming salon filled with true professionals who made me feel great! Thank you Kokopelli!

We have been planning our Manasquan/Spring Lake wedding from South Carolina for the last 6 months. One of the first things we did after booking the venue was schedule hair appointments for all the ladies. Months later, and less than a week before the wedding, we got a voice mail from Salon Kokopelli "confirming our appointment", but it was ALL WRONG. When we called back, hoping that it was just a clerical error, they said that we had only 3 appointments (instead of the 6 we reserved) and the times were way off! She didnt offer an apology or even the least bit of sympathy! She acted like it was no big deal that their mistake could ruin somebodys perfect wedding day, and didnt even offer to see what she could do. Needless to say, we called around frantically looking for 6 openings... Of course we couldnt find that anywhere, but thank goodness the ladies at COLORBAR have a heart and did their best to accommodate us. Thanks for NOTHING, Salon Kokopelli.

As a long time client at both the Spring Lake and Brielle locations, I have always been treated with the utmost professionalism and thoughtfulness at Salon Kokopelli. Every effort is made to acommodate me, even if I need to change an appointment. I have lived in this area all my adult life, and the reputation of this Salon is impeccible! A client is shown supreme courtesy from booking through check out. I vouch for this personally and from the many customer experiences that I have witnessed. The primary goal of each member of the staff is for the customer to become a client and the client to be delighted by all services performed. Since I have been such a satisfied client since these salons opened, I speak from years of wonderful experiences. Salon Kokopelli and its sister, The Hair Lounge in Spring Lake are the finest salons in central Jersey!

Horrific experience. Booked with Salon Kokopelli (Spring Lake) for 6 wedding updo appointments- only to find out, FOUR days before my wedding, that they not only had booked the wrong time, but only 3 appointments. To make matters worse, they had an "oh well" attitude and did not attempt to resolve the situation. Thankfully I was able to find last minute openings with a different salon, who even called two of their stylists to come in early to accommodate us. You wont find that type of service at Kokopelli. Book at your own risk.

My experiences at Salon Kokopelli have always been top notch! My stylist, Marianna, is not only a master of her craft, but always a pleasure to see and talk to. Always upbeat and happy, she makes having your hair styled something to look forward to. She not only listens very intently on what your direction is, but is very often very intently thinking and making great suggestions as to what we can do just a little differently , to spice things up! Its too bad I only need a haircut every 5 to 6 weeks:) !!!

Everyone from new talent to the higher level stylists are always amazing, friendly, on the cutting edge of the trends and the price is right. Both salons are also very cozy and the each staff member is friendlier than the next! I cant say anything bad about Salon Kokopelli - make an appointment today!

I have been going to Salon Kokopelli for several years now and have never had a bad experience. I can always count on Marianna to give me the best cut and color. The salon is immaculate, staff is extremely friendly and I look forward to being pampered while I am there! The salon is 1/2 hr from where I live but I cant imagine going anywhere else.. and why would I? I get the best when you go to the best!

I started coming here on the recommendation from a friend a few years ago. Went to Jen for a blow out to try it out and fell in love. Number 1, Jen is incredible. Empathetic, talented, and knows just how to make you look and feel amazing. Number 2, the entire staff is great. When you need to reschedule, they work with you. Ive gotten facials here too and they are TOP NOTCH. Highly recommend.

56 dollars for pedicure / old massage chair /front staff needs culture/diversity classes - last time I paid this I was at Venetian spa in Vegas. This is not a spa In addition they applied a solution to my feet which ended in 2 huge blisters on my feet. They never ask if I have allergies Or what I want done???? Just dissapointing because inside staff is nice.

I have been going to Eileen for over 8 years (that I can remember!). I am always 100% satisfied with my cuts and when I splurge for color. She is extremely professional. Always listens to my requests and offers excellent suggestions for what will work best with my hair type. Additionally, the staff is always friendly and professional. Highly recommend!

A true gem! The women in this salon not only make you look and feel beautiful, they are also true beauties themselves. They are every bit as lovely on the inside as they are on the outside. I always feel welcome walking through the door and leave with a smile on my face. They are masters of the art of hairstyling, nails, waxing and skin care. Great Vibe!
