So I check back on google because I am disputing my $60 credit card charge and lo and behold Daniela the owner has deigned to respond to my post but she refused to call me back the night if this incident. If she had been on the phone with me she would have known that i offered to have the $60 deducted from my daughters actual hair appointment and the manager on the phone refused to compromise. For the record, my daughter is an honors student with impeccable morals who was completely taken advantage of. She in no way was informed that what was taken place was a "trial" vs a "consultation" and was under the impression that the stylist was doing what is normally considered a "free consultation," as she even verified on the phone. To suggest that she in any way had any idea that she would be charged $60 when no one ever brought that up is despicable. You are the mist deceitful business I have ever encountered! Not to mention, try talking on the phone in the beginning before this unraveled --- customer service 101. This salon is a disaster! I would give them zero stars if I could! Their website claims "free consultations" (which they confirmed over the phone) then when my daughter went in to review her prom hairstyle (very simple, mostly hair down) they charged her $60 claiming it was a "trial" (which they never informed her of beforehand)--disgusting business practice which they refused to compensate for when I then contacted them by phone. Needless to say, we cancelled her actual appointment for prom as did her best friend so they ultimately lost $150 by their shady dealings!

So I had written a bad review about my past experience with a pricing issue. But after speaking to the male owner of the shop Ive changed my views. Yes the past situation was bad but his swift action and kind words warrant five stars. We spoke about the situation both calmly and kind and he offered me a gift card to make up for the incident. Being that I dont live in the area any more it just made me happy to be offered one. But he wouldnt take no for an answer and offered to give my mother the gift card instead. I had worked in retail for 8 years and I know how hard it is dealing with people so it meant more then words that he reached out. He went above and beyond with his words and actions. My mother is happy as well and I am sure she will have a great experience due to the one I had on the phone with the lovely owner. Im not blowing hot air. I promise. In these troubling times kind words and kinder actions are rare and this was a pure moment of true kindness and promising actions. Thank you
