My experience at Strawberry Patch was a horrified one. I send my son to this school at the age of 2yrs and had to pull him out shortly after. My son was so scared of this place that we could not drive on Miller Ave heading towards Linden blvd for a very long time, he is now 4yrs old about to turn 5yrs and everytime we have to go by Linden blvd by that school , he would call it the bad school. After I realised my son was unhappy at Strawberry Patch, I pulled him out right away and send him to Friends of Crown Heghts and I was ask what happened to him at his first school because it seems like he could not trust anyone. In the space of 2wks the teachers at FOCH got him settled in and oh he was happy to go to school everyday. My son is a graduate of 2017 FOCH. For me it is still a nightmare, I still ask myself what did I missed when I visited the school, things like the Kids were not able to play with the toys in the front, the toys were always the same like they never been touch. What did I missed when child services ACS call me to ask questions about the school and the school try to cover up by saying one teacher had a little problem at home and thats the reason for ACS calling all the parents. I cried a lot because to me I let my little one down by putting him in a bad school and the thing is when we pulled him out, no one from the school ever call to ask the reason why he did not come bk. I even paid for some school pictures and never got them. On to this day my now 4yr old referred to Strawberry Patch Daycare Center as the bad school. And yeah I never want to go bk there and oops I just came across it on the web and was glad that I can write a review.

My children have been attending this day care for 2 yrs. It great for the younger ones....up to age 2. Not so good fo older ones if your looking for educational facilitation. Pros: hrs are great, they feed the kids home cooked food, and safety is top priority. Cons: owner needs to be more professional, they DO NOT take the kids outside...even during summer...not to the park or even the library, post office,.....you know around te neighborhood. And no school trips either....SO DONT BE FOOLED!, everytime you turn around they asking parents for money for things that the kids can make in school, high turn over in staff (3 teachers have left...that I know of... could be more.), teaching has been pretty much non existant for last few months...again teachers have been leaving. Workbook is basically taken home everyday as home work....just do next 2 pages...every night. I work with my children at home...flashcards, phonics, early math problems and such. Ive spoken to owner more than once to express my concerns. She says the parents can talk to her about anything...yes you can but nothing changes. This will be my familys last year here...I just cannot take anymore.

I love Strawberry Patch Daycare! All of the teachers and staff members are always so pleasant and helpful. They create a positive environment and the curriculum is carefully considered to foster the childrens educational growth. The school is always clean, safe and well organized. I feel comfortable talking to them about my daughters development and they are attentive to my feedback as well. I was thankful to find a place when I first brought my daughter at 2 years old and potty trained her in one week. A special thanks to the Director and her staff; they continue to do amazing work with all the children. I recommend Strawberry Patch to all my neighbors.

My son has been attending strawberry patch daycare for 3 yrs when he was 1 yrs old I was so skeptical on putting him in any daycare.but he is 4 yrs old and I am so happy I enrolled him here. They are loving and very hands on.so when I had my daughter I automatically trusted them to take good care of her she has been there since she was 8 months and when I pick them both up they are always smiling I recommended strawberry patch to my cousin now her son attends..... great job ms kiara samiya loves her she is so organize with the infants. And most of all thanku ms.anora for teaching samuel how to be more dependent and responsible for his actions and spoilness lol

This is an excellent example of how all daycares should be. They are excellent with the kids and with the parents. Great hours for working parents. My 3 year old daughter had a horrible experience with Shirley Chrislom daycare on Saratoga Ave, Bklyn and they have been so very helpful in getting her to trust them. She is so happy when we go to pick her up on evenings now as compare to being sad and having that expression of relief when we use to pick her up from Shirley Chrislom. Thank you to the wonderful staff at Strawberry Patch. God Bless You all

My daughter went here when she was four and this was the most amazing daycare Ive ever came across. The staff is so loving, enagaging and interactive with the children. During the school year the teachers worked so well with my daughter. She even passed her gifted and talented exam and i thank them up to today for that. You wont make a mistake sending your kids here.Trust me.

This place is a prison for toddlers. Not sure why anyone would want to send a child there. The kids are sitting in seats all day. Minimal toys are brought to the table for them to play. They are training kids to be obedient and militant parts of the system. My friend worked there for 2 days and got fired because she had the kids play and stretch!

My daughter has been at "the patch for over a year now. We love it. The school is safe, clean and learning-centered. I travel from another borough to leave my child there. Its totally worth it.
