In just one week at The Goddard School, I experienced one of the happiest and hardest moments as a mother. Our 2-year old (who normally clung to me and cried when I dropped her off at her previous daycare) ran into her room, threw her coat off, sat down at the table where an activity was already set up for her, lifted her arm up and waved “bye mommy” without even looking in my direction. She was so happy and excited to start her Goddard Day that she didn’t even waste time giving me a proper good bye. Of course, I was sad that she was not going to miss me, but seeing that excitement and joy in our little girl was a million times greater. Our experience at The Goddard School has been life changing. Our daughter comes home every day singing a new song, proud of a fun new art project, or signing a new word. As parents, we often joke about how she’s become smarter than us now! Not to mention how ecstatic we were when she coughed into the crook of her arm and said “excuse me” for the first time, which we definitely did not teach her! The teachers and staff are absolutely wonderful. They’ve created a kind, warm, inviting atmosphere that is welcoming to all. Our daughter adores each and every one, which is obvious as she smiles and calls out “bye-bye” to them all as we leave for the day. She’s truly developing into a very well-rounded little girl, exploring her creativity, her physical abilities and learning to become a responsible, polite individual. We couldn’t be happier with our choice to enroll our daughter here. We’re looking forward to all the exciting adventures to come!

We searched high and low for an early childhood school that provided a quality education in a safe, nurturing environment. We found these attributes in the Goddard School. Our 21 month old comes home just about every day humming or singing a new song that she’s learned, and/or a new word that shes been taught in English, Spanish, and in sign language. The Goddards accredited curriculum was exactly what we wanted for our daughter that’s showing signs of advanced development. Goddard employs college-educated teachers to teach and care for our kids. This was essential in our quest for a preschool facility, as we wanted our pre-toddler to get the most out of each day while she was at pre-school. Each day our daughter participates in actives that develop her language and creative skills, as well as exploring nature and science. But most importantly, the school enhances the child cognitive development and motor skills, which are tools in life building. This particular Goddard School has advanced security features. There are two entry points that require a visual check-in, as well as a special electronic feature that assures only the right person gains access into the school. Additionally, each classroom has its own emergency exit, which is undeniably very important. The best things about Goddard are the staff and the nurturing way they take care of our kids. The owner on site, the director, the teachers and all of the staff are warm, welcoming, sensitive genuine and authentic. You won’t find a better pre-school than Goddard.

Our son Nathan has been attending The Goddard School of Wappingers Falls, NY since its grand opening in January 2013. The school, the owner, director, teachers and staff have exceeded our expectations. They are always warm and welcoming. We are very pleased with Nathans experience thus far. The security aspect was very enticing. We were pleasantly surprised to see the hand scanner that only lets in approved adults. With recent events, that was extremely important to us. The daily activity report is wonderful because it offers a plethora of information that helps initiate conversations with Nathan about his day. The school is full of new toys and books and everything is clean. We often see toys spread out on the tables in the morning that have been sanitized the night before. We highly recommend The Goddard School of Wappingers Falls, NY!

My two girls have been attending the Goddard school for 8 months now, and we couldnt be happier in our decision to send them there. We moved to the area from North Jersey and visited/interviewed a few local schools....we decided to go with Goddard due to the facilities / the owners enthusiasm about education / the Goddard brand name. The girls have both grown in so many ways over the past few months...they love to paint and their vocabulary has gotten alot better (they even picked up Spanish!!) Thanks Goddard of Wappingers for providing a great environment for our girls to spend their day. Finding a place where your children can spend the day learning, socializing, and growing is one of the most difficult things parents have to do. We were always second guessing our choices, and never really happy with any of them. Until we found Goddard in Wappingers Falls. The drive is not ideal (25 minutes each way for us), but worth it in so many ways. Our boys, currently 12 months and 4 yrs old, are thrilled to go to school, and most of all, they are enjoying, and valuing the learning process unlike ever before. We could not be happier.
