Where is the option to give 0 stars? Ive been using Wash Club for quite some time. Theyve lost articles of clothing and washed things incorrectly despite very descriptive instructions. Theyve delivered my clothing and forgotten my dry cleaning and had to redeliver it again separately. On top of this, they have the nerve go charge you a fee if you miss a delivery time ($7). However, they refused to compensate you when they fail to meet their commitments. They refused refund the $7 when I asked after that incident. So lets fast forward to today, October 11th, not only did they forget my dry cleaning in my last deliver,y but they also forgot to factor the cost into the last statement they provided via email. So not only did I get my dry cleaning days late but they charged me without any notice as well. Im in the process of moving from NY to LA and because of their incompetence, I am stuck with extra costs to ship these clothes as they refuse to do so and they refuse to compensate me for the cost of shipping or any of the dry cleaning. Im left to manage their mistake. If you go with Wash Club, just know that you will not only have to manage your daily life but youll also have to manage the job that they do and pay them for it. Customer service was awful and unaccommodating. Management was very dismissive. Ive been a good and long-time customer. This is the first time I got fed up and expected them to actually make things right. They failed miserably. Go elsewhere.

We used washclub NYC for many months and it was mostly fine. One time they charged is an extra $12 (on top of weight) for a duvet (which is two sheets sewn together) and they dug their heels in when we suggested it was an unfair extra charge when a duvet doesnt add any work to the load. It gave us a hint that customer service wasnt a top priority. A few loads later, we gave them two full laundry bags for regular wash and dry. Only one bag came back. In the meantime it was nerve wracking because half of our wardrobe missing. Once the missing bag was discovered (by a customer who got an extra bag / our bag) and delivered - the folded contents were small and we started to notice missing things. We got Rick on the phone and to be honest in the history of dealing with companies, I have never talked to someone so rude and unhelpful. On the phone and he basically told me he would give me a $12 credit to washclub and thats it. I said the trust has been broken, I dont know what else is missing or what they could lose (without caring) in the future. I told him I obviously wont be using them anymore. And that I would write a bad review. He threatened legal action if I posted a review of my experience. So bottom line - dont use this company. They will lose your things, only be extremely and overwhelmingly unhelpful and angry when you try to fairly recoup your loss that was their fault, and possibly threaten legal action.

Warning: Wash Club NYC threatened to sue us to prevent this review That should tell you all you need to know about this company. Recently they lost an entire bag of our laundry. That happens. No big deal. But each of the three “customer service” people we talked with had anger management issues and berated us for our inquiries. The bag was returned but many items were missing. They berated us some more when informed of the missing pieces before offering us a $12 credit to replace all items (obviously not a fraction of what they were worth.) To preface the final verbal assault, it was stated “I’ve lost a customer here anyway so here goes…” And then the berating continued at a louder level. Prior to this incident, they had charged us a blanket fee of an additional $12 to wash a duvet cover (it is two sheets sewn together as you now). That inquiry happened over email and contained a long and detailed rant of why they were right and we were wrong. Anyway, we should have said our goodbyes then but life takes over; we live in a walk up and we just had no time to sever ties. Based only on our experience we advise: If you are customer, leave before you lose your wardrobe. If you are not yet a customer, keep looking. There was no one to talk to that was more level headed then the last abusive person in the chain so this incredible cycle of frustration ensued.

Very poor experience. My knitted shirt was returned with a small hole located on the front chest area after being dry cleaned by Washclub. The hole was tiny, about the size of a pencil tip, but very noticeable. The shirt was only worn once prior to being dry cleaned. The business admitted to the mistake saying it was likely a baby-pin that caused the issue. The hole was much larger than the size of a baby pin. The hole is large enough to see an undershirt beneath the top. It was a poor excuse by Washclub. Ultimately, Washclub said the hole wasnt large enough for them to issue and insurance claim, so they couldnt offer me any credit or compensation. They did offer me a refund for the $5.95 cleaning service. They also offered to patch the item but admitted this would not help the appearance. Its upsetting how Washclub defended the size of the hole. The shirt is ruined in my opinion. I gave Washclub every opportunity to do right by their mistake. Unfortunately, they did not pay for damaged item and lost my future business.

Excellent Excellent Service - I have jumped around from various laundry services struggling to find one that is truly a convenience (since having your laundry picked up and dropped off should be a convenience). But many of the Bay Ridge and Brooklyn services are awful - lacking customer service and convenience. (conveniencing their schedule-not mine) But then, while I was out for a drive with my husband we passed Wash Club. It was new and clean and bright - I figured I had nothing to lose. I had tried all the rest - and I stumbled upon the best. From day one, they have been efficient, fast pick up and even better fast delivery. Personalized laundry label (havent gotten anyone elses clothes in my bag yet) Excellent customer service, friendly and accommodating. Wash Club where have you been all my life! I will never go back to those other places - Wash Club is the best!

I signed up with Wash Club Yesterday and was assured that my towels and wash cloths for our Fitness Facility would be neatly folded. Instead they look like they were just thrown into a bag with very little care. I called to inquire and was basically told they machine fold them and if I want better my rice would almost double. I passed this offer only to be threatened with a legal battle because I choose not to continue service. To make this the most awful experience ever the owner Rick tells me that I would need to pay $1500 in order to get my towels back. I received y first laundry drop off today and they are no holding my towels random until they receive a $1500 cancellation fee. Do not do business with this company, especially when on the first day they try to stronghold you into just paying them or you wont get your laundry back.
