Less than one star if possible. This place is so close to my apartment, so we used them frequently. They are very expensive but they are in West Village so that is to be expected... but the staff is so rude and horrible. I will come in with my laundry separated and they still try to charge me a $4 fee. So I have to bring a friend with me and pretend its a new ticket. We spend a lot of money here on dry cleaning as well and its sub par. This morning I tried to bring in my new sheets to get washed, which wasnt the $10 min but I thought they would make a exception because I am there 2x a week. She looked at me like I killed her cat and proceeded to scream that it was a $10 min. I also know someone who found a dead cockroach in his clean, folded sheets. Just dont go here. There is another great spot around the block and FlyCleaners is just as expensive but delivers and is friendly.

I started using this laundromat for wash and fold a few months ago and will officially stop going there. I constantly have problems with the staff overcharging me (for separating/low heat) or charging me for services I didnt ask for. Today was the last straw; I had an incident where the young girl who was new refused to give me my clothes if I didnt pay for softener which I did not ask for! So disappointing as they are very conveniently located. Thankfully, the woman at the adjacent dry cleaners helped me out and "gave" me my clothes and accepted payment for the services I requested. I will continue to use the dry cleaners.

Other than that, they are pretty good. I am a student and have been using the Village Cleaners for over a year now and they have been nothing but great. I drop off in the morning by 10 or 11 and it is usually done by 6PM. They fold quite nicely, too. I have never had a problem with them and their prices arent too bad, $1 per pound. The business on Bedford, Cleantopia charges $1.25 per pound but they have free pick up and delivery, so its your call, really. I like them because they are efficient and I always get a kick of how nicely my clothes are folded ;)

This tiny laundromat is the only game in town if you want to do your own laundry. The people that work there are nice and its literally the only thing around. Drop off service exists but Ive never used it.
