bloom floristry was recommended to me so I went on weddingwire looked at the reviews some good some terrible, made an appointment to meet with orlando any how.I even asked him about two of the negative reviews on wedding wire and he explained that it was just slight mixups and so on, I gave him the benefit of the doubt. When I arrived for my consultation they didnt even know I had an appointment with them that day(unorganized),after sitting down with Orlando I did began to feel comfortable, he is very personable and seemed to know everything I wanted. I was very specific the only thing i absolutely did NOT want at my wedding were regular roses, it isnt my style and i was dead set against them. After the consultation I was told I would receive a price break down contract within three days, a week went by so I called to find out why I hadnt received the contract and ashley the assistant didnt know what I was talking about, Orlando never put any info into the system.When ashley did find my name she apologized and stated orlando placed it in a pile of orders for valentines day (my wedding is going to be in august), i let that slide. A week later still nothing I called back and ashley said she needed to get some information and details in order to send the invoice b/c there were no details in the computer, thats when I began to get frustrated, I said how could there be no info? i spoke about every detail imaginable with Orlando for almost two hours at the consultation, she again apologized put me on hold came back and said I found your information he(meaning orlando) put it in a different part of the computer. When I finally did get the contract it literally had my centerpieces and bouquets as regular white roses( are you kidding me that is the one thing I stressed to Orlando that I was dead set against) if they made so many mistakes on just trying to get me the estimated price for services with a contract I would definitely not trust them to actually handle the business end of my wedding flowers. Other reviews on weddingwire say that bloom actually forgot to even deliver flowers for peoples weddings, and I believe it!! Just from the experience I have had with them up to this point. Bloom seems unorganized, unprofessional and tells you what you want to hear while your there but does something completely different, ashley the assistant is very nice , however being nice does not fix mistake after mistake that they had made, I wish i could warn people not to even go through the hassle of going to Bloom in the first place but weddingwire only lets you write a review after your wedding date and if you have a signed contract with the vendor, well i couldnt even get to sign his contract because they made so many mistakes just trying to email me one.I highly recommend NOT using bloom florist do yourself a favor and steer clear, there are so many stressful parts to planning a wedding, having to deal with an unprofessional florist shouldnt be one of them!! So i am choosing a different florist,

Company does the bare minimum. Only concern is taking your money not on your experience. Apologies for the long story but I feel it’s one to be shared. I am recently engaged and I have been doing research of local florists. So when my sisters birthday came around I saw it as the perfect opportunity to try Bloom out (usual place doesn’t have the capacity for weddings) Placed my order online and made a special note of how to get in touch with my sister since she works in building with multiple companies. After receiving the email confirmation I was buzzing with excitement, anticipating the surprise on my sisters’ face. So Tuesday rolls around and I’m waiting and waiting for a call/text from my sister but nothing. Not wanting to ruin the surprise I decide to call the florist at 3pm to check. Bloom Florist assures me that my sister received her flowers. Now I’m thinking what the heck sis! I give her a call and she said nobody contacted her about a delivery and she couldn’t find the flowers! The $70 order that I placed never made it to my sister on her Birthday. I was more sad than anything. The next day I call the florist to find out what happened. I let him know that we never received the order. He suggested I tell my sister to “look around the office” on tables and such to find them. This confused me since the day prior he told he that they were delivered to her. Orlando (The Owner) proceeded to say that he could refund me or send another delivery but that wouldn’t be “fair” to him. I was shocked and appalled by Orlando’s insolence and selfishness. Relieved I didn’t book them for the wedding.

Our wedding was absolutely beautiful, and it was entirely because of Orlando! I was a little stressed because I had no idea what to expect, but he was always patient and listened to my ideas, and ultimately I trusted him to make it a reality. He exceeded my expectations and created a room more lovely than I ever imagined. It ended up raining the whole day for our wedding and I was devastated because the outside of our venue was my favorite part, but when I walked in and saw what he created, I couldnt have been happier. Everything was soft and romantic, but most impressive was his attention to detail; the smallest things were considered, coordinated, and executed perfectly. He honestly left us feeling as though we didnt pay enough for his services - that is how good it was!

My husband and I just celebrated our 25th wedding anniversery. Orlando, at Bloom Floristy and his assistant, Karen, did a fabulous job with the arrangements and bouquets for our vow renewal. The table arrangements were beautiful, you will never see originality like you get at Blooms!! They were right on time with the set-up and made sure that everything was to my satisfaction. My husband has been ordering flower arrangements from Orlando since the opening of Blooms three years ago. A personal touch is always added to any order. We will be loyal customers forever!! My partner Steve and I couldnt have asked for a better Florist for our wedding. Orlando and Ashley were fun and easy to work with; their expertise came in very handy especially when working with two men who arent exactly botanists. So many people had such great things to say about the arrangements at the church as well as the centerpieces at our reception hall. Two enthusiastic thumbs up for sure! Id use them again in a New York minute.

Terrible experience. Walked 2 miles to get to flower shop which both google and phone system said shop was open until 1pm. Got to shop at 12:35pm and it was closed. Shop door said open til 1pm but locked and no one there no lights on or anything. No sign even to explain? What a waste of time and energy and could have done something else if I knew. Now no flowers for my daughters graduation! Great job Blooms.

My fiance and I had an appointment at 5 oclock for a wedding consultation. The shop closes at 5, but Orlando offered to stay after hours to meet with us. We showed up at 4:45 and the store was already closed. We waited for 20 minutes and called, but no one showed up or answered the phone. If you cant make an appointment, at least let us know. Completely unprofessional.
