DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! We had these guys out in December (2015) for a series of odd jobs. Their first mistake was sending an estimator (Lori) with absolutely zero qualifications. We had quotes to fix a bannister, a front door, install a few fixtures and but up our Christmas lights. The price was reasonable so we put down a deposit. As soon as the gentlemen showed up to fix the bannister they stated it was a much more involved, expensive job and the repair quoted by Lori would not be secure (even though we had even followed up with Lori via email before who verified the fix would be safe for our children; the price was low so we wanted to be sure). Cha Ching, quote now doubled! The first pair of installers then spent all day getting through a kitchen faucet install and a bathroom faucet install. The bathroom faucet was put on with handles backwards, so they had to come out and fix it the next day. Then came the tub faucet install. Installers said it could not be done without cutting into my tile and I should not have been quoted for it (I still have the faucet sitting in its box). Then when it came to fixing the front door and putting weather stripping on, installers ... surprise!, said they cannot do repair as door was not drillable. So basically almost nothing Lori quoted was either accurate or able to be fixed. This company should do itself a favor and send out someone who knows what they are doing and save us all some trouble. The icing on the cake were the Christmas lights. I do have a high roof and had asked my own C9s be installed. These are fickle lights and you cannot plug more than 2-3 strings together. I told the installer that, to no avail. The first pair of installers through (we were over a week into this by now) basically just threw the lights on the roof without clipping or tucking them. It looked terrible, especially for over $500. I complained and they sent another team out. These guys were great and did an excellent job. Only issue is they plugged all 8 sets together so of course they all blew. When I called Lori to ask them to come out and fix the fuses on the roof she stated she may have to charge me more as they had been out 3 times. I was not having that as after nearly 2 weeks I still did not have working Christmas lights and it was a few days before Christmas. What a debacle! To really kick dirt in my face, despite it all it is now March and we have been calling these guys for weeks to come take the lights down (they had quoted us $150 to do that and I have no choice as my roof is very high up). They will not return our calls or emails and when you do get someone on the phone they say someone else has to help and call us back (they never do). Its the basic run around. I may just leave my lights up as an advertisement to all my neighbors to never use Honey Do Men. I thought long and hard about writing a negative review as the work eventually got done, but they just pushed us over the edge here. Ill now make sure anyone that can hear my voice never, ever uses Honey Do Men. Use local businesses when you can, but steer a mile wide of this disaster.

Honey-Do-Men Gutters, Roofing & Handyman just completed (June 9, 2015) the replacement/installation of our outdoor basement door, and the job was done in superior fashion on all counts: responsiveness, punctuality, reliability, quality of work, and overall professionalism. Business owner, Darrell Babboni was responsive to our needs through the entire process from estimate, door purchase, scheduling, and job done well and to our complete satisfaction. Handymen Georges and Ryan exhibited total professionalism. They arrived on time, were sincerely friendly and courteous (an added perk!), showed terrific work ethic, completed a pristine job in three hours, and left the work area virtually immaculate. The two even returned the next day, as promised, to apply matching dark brown caulking around the door frame when they only had white. Having excellently maintained our gutter system and roof since 2009, my husband and I are more than satisfied with the experience of working with Honey-Do-Men. It is without reservation that I heartily give a 5-star rating to their handyman services as well!

My Experience with HDM: I called for an estimate on a roofing job for my Barn and received a courteous and professional call back immediately. They worked within our schedule and the carpenter arrived on time on the scheduled date. He arrived with all the supplies and equipment necessary to start and complete the job. He cut the long planks of wood that were then fitted to my barns vent louvers. He also stained the small louvers with Barn Red paint which we supplied. My wife was at home but through our video surveillance system I was able to watch and record the work while at my place of business. The job was completed and it exceeded our expectations. I am very pleased with the skill set and professionalism of this company. My family and I highly recommend HDM for any projects you need completed or started they will finish it efficiently. They are easy to talk and work with. HDM cleaned up the area in which they worked and left the driveway spotless. ***We had an issue with the billing department after the above work was completed but they quickly resolved the issue and it was a miss adjusted charge on their part. Thank you.

What a bummer. We always prefer to give a local company a shot, and even after a couple of negative reviews on Angies list we gave them a shot. We had a couple of holes and damaged gutters after the October 30th storm. They came out 2 days later and looked. The guy was supposed to be there by 1, he showed up at 4. Told my husband wed get an estimate in the mail asap. 2 weeks later, nothing there so we called. He said he sent it to the wrong address but would send it out again and also email it. Still nothing. 4 more calls by my husband, then I took over. After talking to the office, I was promised an immediate call back as they were "so upset about this occurance". Still nothing. Went away, came home, called again 3 days ago, and was promised an immediate call back - nothing. Now we have substantial water damage from the holes being left unfixed. Too bad, we just bought an old house right in their town, they could have had a customer for life. Now I will never use them.

“Honey Do Men Gutters & Roofing” is Convenient! Courteous! Clean! This past winter “Honey Do” replaced damaged sheet rock in our playroom, taped & spackled the areas. They also, replaced the outside chimney on the roof that was leaking into the playroom. They did such a great job we recently had them repair our outside stone wall entrance and path. To contact “Honey Do” is easy and convenient. There is always a person to speak to and make arrangements for an estimate. Whether for an estimate, or to do the work, they are always punctual. All the staff are courteous and friendly. The work is done efficiently, quickly and neatly. “Honey Do Men” makes life easy. A quick call, works much better than - asking “My Honey” when will you DO this?
