We now have our 2nd son as a student at TLE for the past 2 1/2 years and his older brother was a student there for 2 years as well. With a combined total of nearly 5 years of experience with TLE as our providers, we have only immensely positive feedback to offer. My oldest child went to several other day cares when she was little as we never found the right fit and were not living in the vicinity of TLE at the time. When it came time in our lives to seek daycare arrangements for our 1st son, and being new to this area, we were prepared for an exhaustive search and tours of various day cares. TLE was first on our list as they were very accommodating to meet with us quickly for a tour. Believe it or not, having past experiences with day care for my oldest child, we walked out knowing we didnt need to look any further. We immediately enrolled and have never questioned our decision. My sons have always loved to go to TLE and while (from past experiences) some daycares are comparable to "babysitting," TLE runs their program with a comprehensive curriculum appropriate for each age group. There is excellent structure to their daily schedule while still allowing the kids time to play creatively and the summer camp program is phenomenal. The kids are very well cared for with their individual needs always taken into consideration. The staff is extremely consistent and provide excellent communication. Teachers are actively engaged with the kids in their activities and I have never witnessed any "downtime" with kids sitting around and waiting for the next activity. Things flow throughout the day so the kids are always busy with meaningful and educational activities. I could go on and on. As a full time working parent with 3 kids, TLE has truly lifted the burden of any worries I would have about my sons when in their care. It is a very special and unique school that I would highly recommend as I cant imagine another school comparing to the amazing program they offer.

If I could rate this a zero I would but it isnt an option, so I suppose 1 star will have to do.... If you want a place that will take proper care of your kids, look elsewhere. If you want a place to keep your kid alive while you are at work, this may be the place for you, but tread lightly. From the beginning we were lied to. After the first week of coming here with our children, we had some concerns on the way they were being cared for and after meeting with management, nothing changed. After a month of our kids attending their summer program we called and said we were not coming back in August. Their response: OK. No one asked why. This explains alot. After pickup one day my wife witnessed a child vomiting all over the snack table. 2 days later we held our youngest child home because he had stomach problems and when I called to ask if anything was going around their room (knowing full well a kid was vomiting 2 days prior) I was told no, everyone is perfectly healthy and no kids have called out sick except yours. They allowed the sick child to keep coming back and didnt think it necessary to alert the parents that a child was sick within their care. Tread lightly!

Honest Opinion

Do not put your child to this place . This place may look clean and neat but its all for show. The teacher turnover rate of this place is so high. Putting my kids at this school for only few months and witnessed at least 4 teachers left within 2 months and didnt stop. Each time, they gave different excuses why they left. Just unbelievable. They often stated that its open door policy but would pressure you to leave the classroom if stay longer than 15 mins. They made me feel very uncomfortable. I bumped into teacher who left this place after I removed my child here and the teacher agreed that place is terrible. Stay away!

My family has had nothing but wonderful experiences at The Learning Experience of Centereach. I have 3 children all of whom have been through this program, and each of them have done amazing. The staff is caring and compassionate, right down to the administrators. They are truly there for the children, and that is hard to find. The UPK program is hands down the best, and I cannot wait for my youngest to attend next Fall. I have been coming to this school for a number of years, and am very friendly with many of the parents, they are all just as happy as I am. The cleanest, best school around, hands down.

I am so impressed with the Learning Experience. I was hesitant to have anyone but family watch my son, but I am so happy that I made the decision to have him enrolled in The Learning Experience Centereach. The teachers and staff are wonderful. My son looks forward to going there every day. I couldnt ask for more. Not only is the socializing a huge benefit, but the skills he is learning through their curriculum is astounding!

We LOVE TLE. Every day our son Matthew is excited to come to school and every day he returns home happy to tell us about the fun he had and the new subjects he learned about. We are amazed at how much he now knows about and is retaining the information he is given. My wife and are both teachers and appreciate the quality learning environment we see at TLE. TLE has our highest recommendation.

After visiting many local childcare centers and pre-schools, we were very happy to have found The Learning Experience in Centereach. It was exactly what we were looking for. The school is immaculate, and the fact they offer many extra activities like Sign Language, Spanish and the Summer Camp Program were bonuses. So happy to have found such and amazing school!

My wife and I are so happy with the TLE. The staff greets us so nicely knowing both our sons names. My boys always have a smile going to school. I would highly recommend TLE to any of my friends and family or anyone else looking for a child day care.

The worst. They dont either care your kids, or show any respect to the parents. Their business manager- Megan is way too arrogant and ignorant. Their staff are constantly leaving. Its the worst place that you can put your kids in.

My boys are so happy every morning going to school. TLE has such a great staff and a wonderful curriculum. My boys come home learning something new each day. I drop my kids off knowing they are safe and in good hands.
