I work as a mechanic nearby this facility, which is brand new and has a state-of-the-art alignment rack. I needed an front end alignment on a older modified lowered VW with no rust or corrosion and all the space in the world to work around the front end. I went in first and made sure it they would do it and I said I would pay extra and drop it off for the day. I told the service guy I would have to take the nose off the car for it to drive up the rack and he said to get it all apart and bring it by in a hour. Then he calls back an hour later after its all apart and says they wont align it because its modified. I pleaded that I already had it apart and it had no rust and I needed it done and I specifically had set it up ahead of time to avoid being jerked around, but he didnt budge. So I asked "so this is just and outright refusal of service?" and he said "yes" and that was it. I am disgusted by the lack of professionalism.

This is my local go-to shop for routine maintenance and repairs. The service managers tell it like it is and don’t try to sell you any unnecessary parts or labor. My most recent experience confirms my trust in these guys. The exhaust system on my minivan was in obvious need of fixing, and, after getting my OK on what I believed to be a reasonable estimate to make things right, they took care of it that same day. Plus, I’d had a 15%-off coupon that I’d forgotten to hand over when I dropped off the van, and was able to submit it after-the-fact. Within a week I received a check for the amount of the applied discount (thank you, Joel!).

Definitely knowledgeable people that work there. But their prices are through the roof. Was told i needed a rear brake drum resurfacing and they wanted to charge me $400+ for just a resurface. Called up another mom and pop auto shop and they said they would do it for $25 a wheel. Brought it to mom and pop shop, who my friends recommended (20 years of service in the area), and they said I am better off just getting new brakes for $300. Got a whole new set of brakes for less than what AAA was going to charge to just resurface my old ones.

Im sorry that I ever became involved with CLUB INSURANCE SERVICES LLC at the Clifton Park office, as I believe that the only thing they were interested in was making a commission the hell with the customer. As I signed up for auto payments - they honored this relationship by charging my account well ahead of the first day of coverage also they canceled my homeowners insurance due to a faulty appraisal from which there was no appeal. Felt completely abandoned by the agent no help at all solving situation. Overall very poor experience,

Waiting time is always longer or not what they tell you its going to be. The mechanics never come out to tell you or show you whats wrong w/your car,they have the guy @ the desk tell you when its done & ready to pay. Last time I was there I asked to have my tire checked for slow leak & he proceeded to tell me that it would be an hour to an hour&half wait that didnt include to look at it. Wow! So I was told to use their air pump&to keep an eye on it then call for an appointment if need be.

I thought that, as a AAA member, I would get a reasonable price on service I could trust. I had my car towed there and thought that I could still decide to go somewhere else if it was really high, but then they screw you over with a $129 diagnostic charge (applicable to the repair), so youre stuck with the expensive repair. I wont be going back.

Good service with detailed updates. I got a quick turnaround on repair. Only open to 6pm, so can be tough to get to after work. Easy to find.
