Today Humphrey and Mike showed up to take care of some household electrical issues we had been having. They arrived on time and before they even started they put on shoe covers and floor tarps to avoid bringing into my home any dirt leaves etc that would happen naturally. I showed them what had to be done they understood and went right to it. If something required explanation they showed and explained concerns they found in terms a layman could easily understand and relate to. When you have to call in professional services you know it wont be cheap after all you are paying for a skill you do not possess yourself. However they did not waste time and stuck to what had to be done. They also would outside the box and provide prudent advice. Could not ask for a better experience. If you have electrical issues in your home give them a call.

The people at the office were super helpful and accommodating and continue to be very friendly. The people at the office always makes you feel at home and not a novice who hasnt any idea what they are talking about (me...). Brian and Steve spent about 3 hours at our home fixing all manner of issues, and explaining in simple terms all the way what was happening. And they did a great job too. Today, Dale, a good bloke, came out and installed a garden flood light and fixed a light at our front gate. He was very friendly and efficient. He also recommended a better floodlight for the garden which looks great and more importantly, works. Our family would call these guys first thing next time we have an electrical issue to solve.

Quick estimate, fair price, fast schedule, excellent job and very professional. I am actually in the HVAC filed and most of the time working on commercial which is higher voltage than residential. For my first home, I need to upgrade my service entrance from 60amps to 200amps in order to meet home owner insurance policy. I need a licensed person to do the job and get inspection done. On the schedule to work, I left home for the whole day and never have a chance to meet the crew who did the job. I inspect the panel myself base on my profession, I can say that the job is very neat and very impressive. I will definitely recommenced to other and use their service again.

They upgraded my house to 200 amp service in 2012. They did a great job back then so I asked them to perform a repair on my mothers house. The owner gave me an estimate last week and they performed the work yesterday. They were professional, thorough, and very prompt. Not only did they do the work efficiently and completely, they were also very personable. This includes the technicians, the office staff, and the owner. I was really impressed back in 2012 when the owner put cloth booties over his shoes before walking around my house. Based on that I hired them. No other contractor back then used booties. So I knew they would be meticulous.

As an Architect, I have seen Effective Electric in action on a few of my projects. So, I had Effective Electric at my house a few times for some minor electrical work. Each time, the crew has been courteous and clean. They put down tarps and wore booties in order to prevent the tracking of dirt through the house. Their work was clean, professional and done on a top-notch manner. Absolutely first rate service ! I had a minor electric power outage issue after a storm. I called them early in the morning to report and ask for their service. They called back in 10 minutes, their guys were just rolling out and they were here 20 minutes later. Before entering the house they put on clean plastic shoe covers not to mess floors. They fixed the problem in 10 minutes (no bs about needing special work!). Very polite people as well. I will definitely use them again whenever needed.

Jason and Doug, of Effective Electric, came today to mount a TV over our fireplace, install outlets, and run cable from the outside of our house to the back of our fireplace area. They were amazing. True professionals. Clean, neat, prompt, and informative. I plan to use them again for future needs. I generally dont write reviews, but their high level of service (including my dealings with the owner and office staff) warranted such.

Excellent work. They are professional, efficient, clean and really nice guys. Today they did 3 hours of odd electrical jobs around my house including installing new light and fan fixtures, outdoor lighting , motion sensors and switches. They previously installed a generator system that has performed well when the lights go out because of a storm. I highly recommend them for all of your electrical needs.

I had a tricky light on my front lawn that had corroded and Effective Electric was able to do a simple fix at a reasonable price. It means that my house is safer at night because we dont have street lights. With any other electrician Im sure they would have dug up my lawn and replaced the fixture but Butch came up with a great solution and saved me lots of money. I would recommend his services to anyone.

I just had 2 ceiling fans installed. Excellent work!! They showed up on time, were very careful to keep everything clean, and were very professional. The job did not take as long as expected and I felt I got a fair price for the good work done. I would highly recommend them and would not consider using anyone else in the future.
