Unreliability and neglected communication cause lost deals. Realtor Amanda Disisto has done just that by her neglect of a simple call as promised, or just immediate, up-front honesty that she was not available for me. After lengthy searching for just the right property, I thought I found it online. I rushed to call this realtor (Ms. Disisto) whom Id met once. Id saved her card for months. I called from out of town about this property, asked if she was available. She said YES! I was willing to trust her to preview the property for me from out of town. She did have another client to show the property to, but sounded enthusiastic when she promised to call me the next evening either way, to let me know if her previous client was making an offer, and to tell what she thought of the property for my needs. She never suggested I work with someone else! I trusted and waited all day for her call, patiently waited all the next day as well before trying to reach her. No calls back. I gave up and called another realtor. Its too late now! Multiple offers led to a 2 day cut-off for bids. Deadline had passed! I messaged this to Ms. Disisto. Her flimsy excuse: a surprise dinner (!) and then added, "anyway the other client was my priority." I congratulated her on the dinner and how nice that she cared about her other client. BUT the time to tell me she would not be available to represent me in a timely fashion was BEFORE SHE CAUSED ME TO POTENTIALLY LOSE A HOME PURCHASE. A simple text would have sufficed! I could have called another realtor and maybe bought this home.

Many different styles, level of commitment, communication styles, etc. Amanda Disisto impressed me with her energy, drive and enthusiasm in best representing her clients interests. I have seen first hand her tenacity in follow-through when it came to large health and safety findings as a result of home inspections performed for our mutual clients. I was impressed by her willingness to roll her sleeves up and not be afraid to get deep in the weeds to have her clients interests come out on top!
