I was recently in the area visiting family and needed something done to my hair. When I googled hair salons in the area this was one of the first places that came up. Once I arrived I was not greeted by the staff so I had to inquire about the service I wanted. At this point is when I discovered that this salon offered several different services. This one hair salon also offered hair braiding services in the back as well as tattooing in the basement. I personally can only speak on my experience the hair salon itself. First and foremost customer service definitely can be improved based on the fact that as new customer walking in I was assisted by waiting customers instead of staff. Also, because ATM services are very limited in that area I had inquired if I could pay by credit card or debit card and didnt receive a clear answer. The receptionist gave me a simple yes to my question. However, after I was serviced when I went to pay the salon owner I was then informed that I would be charged a fee of $3.00 if I paid by card. The service itself was pleasant but not sure if Id become a regular.

The hair stylists at this salon ruined my hair. I was adamantly against bleaching my hair because of the damage it would cause and Angelica talked me into a "bleach alternative" that supposedly doesnt cause any damage at all. She lied. My hair has been breaking and falling out in large clumps and it was only used on part of my hair (highlights). I have been attempting to use treatments to get it healthy again but the damage is apparently irreversible. I am too afraid to even use any heat to style it. I didnt even get the color I wanted that day. After about a month the color isnt even visible anymore having become a green silvery color where the lightening was done, it was originally dyed purple. I completely regret going here and I strongly advise that no one trust these people with hair coloring.

The staff is nice. They have an African hair braider in house too. I came in for a roller set and blow out. I have natural hair- tight kinky curls, I can roller set with the right product and skills. The woman who did my set did not have a clue how to get curly hair to lay on the roller. I do it at home on myself all the time so I know its possible she just doesnt know what shes doing. I try to avoid blow dry and flat iron but I may need to after this sloppy set....still in the dryer.

My hair was a hot mess omg,I washed it and let it air dry...I didnt put anything in my hair to soften it out so of course it was dry and tough and omg that lady did an amazing job....I wanted to go natural but I couldnt deal with that so I just permed it,good price to...am in love isthbmy hair,but one part bothers me....tell me why I gotta pay an extra $5 to clip my ends?i think Thays suppose to be in the perm money o well...the results were good and am satisfied..
