At 17 I took my prom dress to this tailor to have it taken in. They fitted it beautifully against my body and I was thrilled. When I came back to pick it up, it had been taken in so far beyond where the woman had pinned it that it was cutting into me very deeply. I didnt know how to handle the situation any better at 17, so I ended up suffering the entire length of my prom and ended up with welts and bruising across my chest. The horrible dress alterations cost me $70 and couldnt have been any worse. Forward five years. I was just asked to be a last minute bridesmaid for a friends wedding. The only similar dress available was a straight cut chest. The other bridesmaids dresses are sweet heart cut. I took the dress back to 3 Star Tailoring thinking maybe the first one was just an accident, the business is located very close to me, and the wedding was in 10 days. Of course I was proven wrong, the "Sweet Heart" cut of the dress they said they could do, was actually just the center of the fabric folded forward with two obvious lines of stitching showing. The lighter colored interior lining of the dress was folded outward obviously showing color differences. The hem on the bottom is crooked and when I broke down crying because the wedding is in 2 days the owner told me I was lying and they never said they could do a sweet heart cut. They refunded me ten dollars. I paid $75 for a 2 inch hem. Only go here if you you arent concerned with how your clothing actually looks and you dont mind paying 20 times more than the job is worth.

Barbara the owner at 3 Star did the alterations for all my wedding functions as well as my wedding dress! She does beautiful work and really takes the time to explain and make suggestions about what needs to be done. She came up with a very creative solution to a difficult bustle problem! She has been in business for over 30 years and her walls are covered with local celebrities who get all their custom tailoring done there. Her personality and expertise is well worth the trip! I will never go anywhere else!

Just picked up a jacket/blazer today that I wanted the shoulders reduced and they did a solid job, exactly as requested! Was done 1 day earlier than promised. The lady who works there was kind and reasonable. Will definitely return for future projects and dry-cleaning. Should rename the store to 5 stars.

Fast, talented, and trustworthy. I know because I just got my brand new 900 dollar suit tailored here. They will get it done when you need it. When you get it back, I challenge you to try and find where they altered; you wont be able to.
