I do not recommend you use this gym, although they do have somewhat decent equipment and great hours it is unfortunately not worth the financial strain. I was a member for two-three years but when I moved and started going to LA Fitness I tried to cancel my member ship, all of which took a total of 6 months. I was always treated negatively when I came in, or called to cancel and was never allowed to speak to a manager. The managers were always on vacation, out of the office, or just never there. They claim you can cancel at any time but it is a scam. Even though my membership has been officially canceled they still charge my card for two distinct charges a month, $63.99 and $54.98. It is a scam, and so far they have taken a total of $218.94 for the months of September and October (2016). It is a shame that a business like this can get away with stealing from the general public.

Tony, the owners father, is rude, vulgar, and constantly threatens to shut things down if he doesnt like the way people use equipment. Walks around cursing at himself and the employees. What a bitter old man! I dont think he has any idea how to manage that gym properly. Used to love this place, now it has fallen on bad times. Equipment is either broken or needs to be updated, sauna (Mens) is never working, and some employees could use a serious attitude adjustment. Cant wait to terminate my membership and go to a place that cares about its customers and their own facility and equipment. Will not be joining another World Gym ever, I dont care what they offer or how cheap it may be. I guess the saying is true, "You get what you pay for!".

Other reviews are accurate. Place has decent facilities but holy hell are the workers and especially the managers assholes. Charged me an annual fee of $50 after three months after being told there were zero fees. My ass. Went into the gym to complain and was told by the manager she didnt have the authority to refund me. Instead I was given an email address. After three weeks I received a reply saying that I was in fact told by an employee About the fee at sign up.... complete scammers dont sign up there

All the bitter losers in Buffalo with no lives is why World Gym sold to Crunch. Buffalo people are nothing but hurtful jealous people who gossip and talk smack. What a horrible town Buffalo is. Crabby hateful people! They think they know how to do everything but none of them have ever accomplished anything nor will they! Buffalo is the town that rumors and hurtful people built. Anyone who works hard and has a good attitude has already left.

Location is convenient, lots of parking. The gym is very clean and the locker rooms are great. The class rooms are very large. The trainers are amazing and really take time to help your individual goals. I belong to the boot camp group and it is the only reason I am so dedicated each week, its definitely worth joining. Also a huge plus for me is the childcare room, its only $15/month and the ladies in there are wonderful with my son.

Staff is extremely stuck up and rude, average wait time for a shake is 5 mins and average wait time while staff is on a personal call in front of you is 8 mins; they make the shakes wrong as well. The old worlds gym crew that was here was amazing, always buzzing with excitement and proactive. Crunch is terrible, please dont waste your time and wont

What a bunch of lying stealing scum bags...... I went in and cancelled my account back in Dec of 2015 and they still continue to withdraw from my checking account.... $109 later..... Now we all understand why you were able to afford a new gym... you steal from previous members..... you should be ashamed of your selfs.....

This place is ridiculous! Ive tried cancelling our membership several times its never the right time for them Im off from work today and theres no manager. Computers are set up so you can cancel during certain hours. The group fitness floor kill my knees and ankles. Save yourself and go to LA management & owners suck

Hello people I cant say that I have ever had a problem with this gym. I walked in and they greet me very politely and then when I leave then also greet very me very well. I must say that I do not go there to socialize. I want to get my workout on and get swollen and BOUNCE! So if anybody wants to cancel just cancel.

Place is a joke. Theyre rude. Place is disgusting. Takes months to cancel. Management is a joke that does nothing and is never there. Definitely take your money elsewhere.
