I was looking for a reputable shop to get some "extras" done to my 2009 Jetta Wolfsburg Edition. I never liked the chrome grill that came with the car and always wanted to have it black to match the body of the car. I had priced out other local shops in central Suffolk county, but they were always overpriced. Since then I had some other cosmetic issues that I wanted resolved. I went online and noticed that Cannon Collision was one of the shops with the highest reviews, so while I was working I decided to stop in. Within seconds of walking into the main office I was outside and showing Paul the car and getting an assessment. I was very impressed to see an owner of a "small business" be so hands on and involved. I knew within minutes that this was the place I was going to do business with, even if the pricing was on the higher side. Guess what!? The pricing was actually the lowest out of the 5 previous quotes I had gotten!! I had made an appointment to drop off the car (without a deposit mind you) and was told that the car would be ready in less time that I had actually expected. Before I left, I actually got into a pretty good convo with Paul and found that we have a lot in common! I could tell that Paul is very serious about his business reputation, and I respect that tremendously!! I was told the car would be ready in 3 days...and guess what?! No BS excuses, no need to call them; the job was done on time, and Paul was in contact with me the entire way through. After painting the grill, he had suggested painting some of the other grills that are where the fog lights should be if I had them. He insisted because he said it just wouldnt look right.... I had my reservations, but then when he told me how much he was going to charge me, I couldnt believe how reasonable it was and went for it!!! I am so glad I did!! Not only did he paint the grills for me, he actually took the liberty of replacing a panel on one of my doors where the paint was chipping off, didnt charge me! Yes, it was a cheap part, but just taking the extra effort and going above and beyond to make me happy was extremely impressive. I have been in the service industry myself for over 15 years....and I just have to mention how impressed I was with the cleanliness of his shop, the quality of his staff. Not only did Paul gain a loyal customer, but a friend! I live in Port Jefferson and will not even think twice about traveling 40 miles to give him my business. I also will have no problem paying extra for a tow to his facility for insurance needs even though my insurance only covers tows to shops within a certain distance from my home. I never usually take the time to write reviews, but after having a conversation with my wife as to how impressed I was, she suggested I do. So here it is, take it for what its worth. I actually stopped in the shop just to pick up a stack of business cards to give to my friends... Nowadays with all these insurance companies being so flaky...you have to be cautious as to where you take your business.... This is the place!!

Paul and the team at Cannon Collision could not have been any better. My 2010 E550 was damaged with a side and front hit, not only was the bumper, fender, wheel etc. damaged, but much of the electronic controls for the parking sensors, ABS, traction control, air ride suspension were also damaged. Paul completely took care of everything including numerous visits to the Mercedes dealership to get the car checked and calibrated correctly after his repairs. The car was returned to me better than it was before the accident. Paul is such a nice guy. He is honest, helpful, spent the time required to repair the vehicle, and the time to discuss and explain everything to me. He handled everything with my insurance company so I did not really need to get involved. I basically dropped the car off explaining everything to him, and the car was returned to me (after numerous updates to me throughout the process) in perfect repaired condition. Not only was every item very thoroughly address, but the work performed is impeccable, clean and neat. He made me a very happy and comfortable customer. I have had many cars and dealt with many collision shops in the past and by far, this was my best experience. Thank you again Paul for all your time and help to repair my baby. I am so happy to have found such a reputable shop so close to my house. I will surely return to Cannon if I ever have to get repairs done again.

I have had the pleasure of working with both John (at Cannon Bethpage) and Paul (at Cannon Hicksville), and I have nothing but good things to say about them. They have worked on both my car and my wifes car, and each time the work is done properly and diligently, with the utmost attention to detail. They make sure the job, however big or small, is done right the first time with no mistakes. It is a pleasure knowing that if I need to leave my car with them, I wont have to worry about having to leave it a second time. I have referred friends and clients to them, and they take care of everything - from helping you talk to your insurance company, to having a rental car waiting to pick you up if you need one. I have seen and heard horror stories about many different body shops throughout Nassau and Suffolk. Your experience with Cannon will not be one. They have a customer for life here, and if you need to have some work done to your car, go see them regardless of how many shops are closer to where you live (theres one in Huntington too). You will not be disappointed.

The door latch on my truck had broken and, given the frigid weather, I decided to give this shop a chance to fix it. I dropped my truck off on a Sunday night with no appt. and by 10:00 Monday morning, the necessary part had been ordered. The day the part came in the repair was completed. They even vacuumed and cleaned the interior of my truck (no small feat since it is my weekend project truck) even though it was a tiny repair. Everyone I had come in contact with, either in person or over the phone, were professional, courteous, and a pleasure to deal with. Although the size of the job was tiny compared to most jobs in a body shop, I never felt as though it wasnt a priority. The quality of the repair is excellent. I am looking forward to bringing in my daily driver for a complete detailing and may even splurge to have them do a paintless dent repair on a door ding. I highly recommend this shop

Remarkable job done on my Honda Accord by Paul and his team at Cannon Hicksville. As soon as I stepped in the door I was met courteously by Paul’s office staff. Paul walked outside to see the damage on my car and collect the necessary insurance info. The estimation process was a snap which included a conference call to my insurance company. We set a convenient date to leave the car for the insurance company to come and estimate the repair. Their work is excellent and my car was completed before his original estimated completion date. The car looks as if it came out of the show room. I am extremely satisfied. Insurance process was prompt and efficient. Repair was “show car” quality. Industry professionals in every way. Do not hesitate to bring your auto body needs to Paul and team at Cannon Hicksville.
