I was referred to Cavalier Auto Body for some major work on my car that I avoided doing for quite some time. I took the car to get two other estimates prior, both were too high for my liking. When I got to Cavalier, the owner Angelo met with me, and I met most of his team, including his wife who manages the office. They all were sweet but more importantly, they were confident that I wouldnt be disappointed and I wasnt. He set my level of expectation for high and then went even higher~ I was beyond impressed with the level of pride and detail that went into restoring my vehicle and for an amazing price. My car was a dump and they made it look brand new again... like selling condition. They did more to my car, with greater care and for a lesser estimate than the other two places I had previously been to. I really cant say enough good about Angelo, his team and the work that came out of Cavalier Auto Body because it was on the highest level of EXCELLENCE. Thats if for me, Im a lifer and when people say "I gotta guy".... they are missing the mark if its not Angelo at Cavalier. Hes the best!

I would not recommend this body shop. The lady (Susan) who has done the estimate to my damaged rear bumper about $1100 in day one, then day two she agreed with insurance company estimate which is less than 50% of her day one estimate. I can see the difference estimate between body shop and insurance company, but not like this huge difference. So if you are the customer who need to pay from your own pocket to get repair done by them, so you basically pay double than other creditable/reliable auto body shop. As a customer, if their estimate cannot be trusted, how can you trust their work. I am definitely not taking my car to this shop for repair.

Sorry but this place is a definite NG. The old lady who answers the phone is rude and nasty so thats a bad sign. When I brought my car in for an estimate I walked in to the office and the old lady at the desk looks at me then continued her conversation with the old guy behind the desk. I stood there 5 minutes which seems like an eternity and neither one of them ever acknowledged me so I walked out. Drove a half mile down Jericho Turnpike and found a body shop with polite friendly people and got my car fixed.

I would comment on the quality of their work, but the lady (Susan) who answers their phones is such a cnt that I would rather fix my car myself that give a dime towards any of that goblins future meals. Find a better place there are a lot of places near by to chose from, and most of them actually appreciate their customers, because you know, its kind of the customers who pay their bills.

My car was pretty scratched up and the inside was very dirty from months of neglect. I took it to Angelo at Cavaliers Auto Detailing Center and he took care of everything- inside, outside and then some! He went above and beyond the call of duty and I recommend his services to all of my friends and family members. Dont trust your car to anyone else!

Editing my last post and review... I cleared up some miscommunication with them, they agreed to honor the free detail with body work coupon I had used. I appreciated the fact they reached out to me and wanted to make things right. I had had body repair done a couple times there and they do a very good quality job for a reasonable price.

I love this place and take all my cars here. They let me hang out in the office and I watch how they work, with the precision and care they put into every single vehicle. I wouldnt trust my car to anyone else. I highly highly recommend them to anyone who wants a quality detail on their car, dont think twice.

You get what u pay for. For $25.00 is wash and wax hand wash at that. The staff very friendly and professional make u feel right at home complimentary coffee, water, and bagels. They really do attend your need of the vehicle pay attention to every detail. No pressure of doing unnecessary work.
