I called them at 7:00pm on a Sunday night to get a cab at 8:30 in the morning and they said thatd be fine they would meet me outside my building at 8:30. As the designated time came and went, I called the dispatch to make sure they were still coming. They dispatch told me the van would be there in just a few seconds and should be pulling up right now. Another 15 minutes passed so I called again. They told me that the van should be there in a few seconds again to which I said, "thats what you said 15 minutes ago, is there a better estimate you can give.." at which point the dispatch officer interrupted me and started yelling that I have to be more patient and they cant make the taxi go any faster. This call was at 8:55. 25 minutes after the time they promised me they could pick me up and bring me to the airport. I have a flight to catch and dont think its rude to check on why my taxi is 25 minutes late when I had requested the pickup more than 12 hours previously. The taxi pulls up to my building at 9:00, half an hour late, and the driver doesnt apologize, nor does he even offer to help me with my luggage. After that we take the longest possible route to the airport where I arrive after 9:30. I almost missed my flight. Not only was this a horrible experience in terms of reliability, the dispatchers were some of the rudest people I have encountered to be working in a customer service industry. I am not a difficult person or customer, but I received no reason or apology why they were a half an hour late, and was treated like dung by their employees. Call a different cab service, this one does not deserve your service.

Im not buying any of these 5 star reviews because this taxi service is disgraceful. The dispatch has the snobbiest, short tempered operators who act like you are the biggest problem in the world to them, and hang up on you most of the time. If u can keep them on the line they will tell u "10 mins" when in reality youre going to be calling them back in 45+mins asking "wheres the cab"? They will however convinently send you another cab that will be there in a short 30+ minutes if your lucky. Real convinent when your on a schedual. Now I have had one really nice driver overall named ryan who was phenominal, but any other time Id get stuck with a driver who made multiple other stops and pickups without asking me first if its ok. Even going out of the way to pickup and drop others off, past my house, before me knowing I had already waited an hour plus. The only light side of other people in the taxi is you get to hear how long they have waited and cant stand how dispatch talks to them. Then the real kicker is dropping $18.00 for what should be an 8 minute drive. Overall an incredibly frustrating service that needs ALOT of help in the dispatch department! I will not waste time or money anymore on such poor service.

my friend and I waited patiently for 20 minutes at about 4am, looking way down the street we happened to see a cab and jokingly said "I bet thats our cab haha" even though it was on the wrong side of the street, about 2 or 3 blocks away.. it later just drove by us with us jokingly waving it down, only for me to call back 10 minutes after that to find out that was our cab all along.. so we waited for Another cab for another 25 minutes only to find out That when I called back the first time to find out what was going on that I had "hung up" on the dispatcher and that they hadnt even sent out another cab yet, much to my chagrin, I said that I hadnt and was met with sarcasm and irritation.. then after all that I was told it would be another 40 minutes.. long story short I walked the 2 miles back to my house.. terrible service, wayyy to expensive and they really do not seem to care at all about the customer.. I now know why I never take cabs..

There is no competition in Ithaca for cabs and it shows. My wife took a ride back from the airport late at night, with some other people on the plane. Our six week old daughter was home and without milk (we had saved up enough breastmillk for my wifes trip out of town but her flights were delayed 6 hours) and she asked if everyone was OK if she went home first. Everyone said OK. The driver then began dropping everyone else off! No one in the cabv said a thing! When my wife asked why he was doing that, he swore at her. She just wanted to get home so she at in the cab crying, Then the driver charged her for going downtown -- to drop off one of the other passengers. He said, "Youre not getting out of this cab until you pay me." She was tired and upset, paid the whole thing, and came into the house at 12:45 am sobbing. We are filing a complaint with the city. Unfortunately, there are no other options for cabs in Ithaca

Poor to Fair?? Why dont you have a "pitfall" choice here? This is the worse Cab company I have ever ever! dealt with. the dispatchers are the nastiest, rudest, unprofessional people I have spoken to in my entire life. STAY AWAY from these people! I was going to Trumansburg, it was the summer so hardly any college students in town. I had waited for 2 hours for them to pick me up, Then when they finally arrived, they took me to Newfeild then enfeild, then picked someone up on rt 89 and went to Interlaken, then finally to trumansburg. 3 hours later. YOU GUYS TOTALLY SUCK and have no reason being in business!! Look at your reviews! on "good" review and I bet its from your staff. Get a life lo0sers! beware these people are ripping everyone off! they tell you one price on the phone, then when you finally arrive to your destination, they charge twice as much as the quoted you.. NASTY NASTY NASTY!!!

Where do you think you are NYC. The thing to remember is that You have Cornell, Ithaca College, And TC3 to deal with as well. I have waited for a ride at times for 3 hours. I would get pissed to but, then I think. I am in a town full of college kids and residents of Ithaca who order cabs. Make the driver wait then never show. That is what takes the time away from the rest of the customers. People of Ithaca please take this into consideration. I remember once when I got picked up by Sherman. He had to pick up other people. When he showed up to the next pick up the person had a 430 time request they didnt come out until 445. Sherman radio the dispatcher. The dispatcher called and they said they were coming out. They didnt come out until 15 min late. It was a Cornell college student.

Normally I dont complain unless Im really upset, the driver arrived in a timely manner and had a great personality. The trip there was a good one. However, after I was finished with my Aarons I called for a ride back and unlike companies like Collegetown cabs who gave me a specific time frame as to when they would arrive, I was told that it could dispatch there in just a few minutes. I waited outside and waited and waited, finally I called and was told that he was right around the corner. 20 minutes later he still had not shown up and I had to walk home pouring rain in a little the night and was not happy. So it looks like from now on Collegetown cabs you have my service from here on out!
