When I brought up issues that were a problem with the work that was done, I was immediately accused of trying to get out of paying for the job. Several times I tried to reasonably talk to Brian about the issues but he continually escalated the conversation. I had ALREADY paid for half the job that was only 35% complete. My complaint was not to get out of paying for work...I had already paid him! My complaint was for poor work that needed to rectified. He owes me an apology and money for a job not done. Additional Comment: Its 2 weeks later. No refund of work not done but paid for. No apology. When I called him to do the work, he said he would do a professional job. Everything that transpired was far from professional. I own a small business. I know exactly what its like. When there is an issue you take care of it and in a timely manner. You dont text: "Consider us fired then" when someone requests that you come back to fix the problem. When the new contractor came to fix the mess that was left from LaMorte, he asked me why was this electrical work done this way? And when I told him that I had sent pictures to Brian that clearly showed the problems, the new contractor could not believe that someone would still deny there was a problem. So now I have paid twice for work that was supposed to be done by LaMorte. I cannot recommend them to anyone. Three weeks later: Mrs. LaMorte found this review and immediately called me to find out what had happened. When I asked her why her husband could not call me back, her reply was this "had fallen between the cracks" which I think is code for he didnt care that there was a problem. We adequately discussed the issues and she agreed that she would refund the money for work that was not done. I did receive a check in the mail in a timely manner and SHE has done the honorable thing. I still ended up paying for electrical work twice. It was a very bad experience, customer service was poor from Mr. LaMorte and the work was not within standards.

We recently had a problem with our electric--some of the outlets worked in our house and some did not. Also, our lights kept flickering. We called NYSEG who quickly inspected our outside electric box and determined that we had electrical surges in our meter box. We were told to call an electrician to have them replaced the box--it was in the evening on a Sunday. NYSEG had to shut our power off immediately. I quickly called LaMorte Electric and left a message. I later tried their home number and got Brian out of the shower. He said he would be at our house before 7AM the next morning to look at the meter box and would then purchase a new one at a Home Improvement store and replace it before noon. We were without heat and electric for several hours and really appreciated the fact that Brian showed up when he said he would, fixed the electrical problem, coordinated with NYSEG to get our power restored, AND even arranged for an electrical inspector to check out the new box. We were very pleased with his services. This was the third time we had used LaMorte Electric and would highly recommend this company and Brian to anyone looking for honest, reliable, and courteous service. Dont waste your time with any other company.

LaMorte Electric officially ranks among the top 5 electrical contractors Ive used. Ive traveled across 42 states and built over 150 Million dollars worth of projects. LaMorte Electric is detail oriented, professional, and responsive. I would contract this company again without a doubt if I were working in the area again. I wish all my contractors performed like LaMorte Electric. The owner Brian is a great family man who has his priorities right. Family, quality, customer satisfaction. Oh, his pricing was right in the budget range as well. Thanks to the owner Brian for a job well done. We couldnt have finished on time and on budget without you.

My wife and I recently moved into a new home in Brooktondale and needed our service upgraded from 100 amps to 200 amps. LaMorte Electric professionally handled everything down to the smallest details and in a faster-than-expected amount of time. I would recommend this company without any hesitation. No need to search anywhere else. [UPDATE 09-11]: Brian also recently did all the electric work in our new addition. Quality, timing, and attention to detail were excellent. Of all the contractors we worked with, Brian was also the most attentive and responsive. The guy is an asset for small and large jobs.

Im a new home owner. I had a heating crisis in the mid-evening. No heat with below freezing temperatures.I found Brian on line at 8pm, he was at my home within a hour. Not only did he fix the problem but forescene protential problems, and fixed them also. It hard to find good honest people that do good work, Brian is that man. I highly recommend his work, as he takes the time to make sure the job is 100%, and the rates are reasonable, you cant beat that. Im building a addition this summer and another home in the future. I will look not further for electrical need, Brian is "the man". Thanks

I called because I needed a complete update on my service. Someone was at my house the next day and started work right away. Extremely honest about what needed to be done and what the cost would be. Was more than willing to work with me to do the project in stages so I could afford it easier. Gave me what I needed for the immediate future and came back and did the rest in steps. Work is great quality and everyone was very friendly and nice. I would definitely recommend, these guys would never take you for a ride and thats definitely appreciated from a contractor.

I called because my lightswitch was melting inside the wall. I got Brian on the phone at 7pm and he was over right away within an hour. He was very professional and detail oriented, and was able to diagnose my problem right away. I hired him to re-wire the electrical connection to the bathroom and I was very happy with the prompt and courteous crew who did the job (Another Brian and Patrick). These guys cleaned up after them selves and did a good job. I would recommend them to others

They answered the phone, listened carefully, amazingly said they could work it in and send someone out the next day because it was a small job (not every shop cares enough to take the small jobs). They showed up on time, were polite and friendly, did excellent work, explained it well, and for a fair price. They wired one overhead light with a wall switch, and re-wired our furnace. I was very satisfied.

My husband and I recently contracted LaMorte Electric to install a Generac whole house generator. The work was completed competently, professionally and as quoted. Brian was always prompt, pleasant and available by both phone and email for questions and updates. I called on Friday, explained my need for a quick turnaround on an electrical panel replacement, and they had it installed by the following Wednesday, which was the earliest that fit my schedule. Not only that, but they were able to work around my work schedule, starting the job earlier than their advertised hours. Top notch work and very professional.
