Sneeky Neek

I cant come to understand why people rate Planet Fitness as a low end gym. My word of advice, only get the standard membership unless you are actually interested in using their massage chairs, tanning beds or "hydro" massage beds. Its all fluff and extra stuff that is meant to get you to spend more money than you actually need. This particular PF in Levittown gets crowded unexpectedly and you may find yourself waiting for a free-weight bench to be open or one of the only four smith machines they have on the ground floor. PF is a starter gym and would definitely be considered to be a serious downgrade to anyone that has previously been a member to LA fitness or other reputable gyms. You get what you pay for. Equipment condition is OK, steel handles are considerably worn and dirt and grim is present on every dumbbell, or detachable steel handles from the lateral pulldown machines, tricep pull down and back row machines; but this is to be expected (If youre a serious about cleanliness and have germaphobia, a gym would probably be the last place youre looking to spend your time in.) IMPORTANT NOTE: There are no squat racks whatsoever or free bench presses. Just 4 smith machines. Dumbell weights go up to 60lbs but if youre able to properly lift that weight above your head, you would be looking into a more serious gym. And about their "no judgement" policy.. Its just another marketing aspect they like to advertise about their gym; Its a gym. If you decide to wear flashy clothing or show a little too much skin you should know that youre asking to be looked at and/or judged, but the staff probably wouldnt stop you unless someone else were to complain about your choice of apparel. And yes, Planet Fitness does have pizza but only on the first Monday of every month. The following Tuesday is bagels and coffee for those early gym goers. And yes, they do have tootsie rolls at the front desk and youre more than welcome to take a handful as you please. But your fitness journey is fully dependent on you and your decisions. Dont go pointing fingers at anyone else and blaming others for your actions. No amount of protein or "fitness tea" will get you the results you want unless you put in persistent work at the gym and in your kitchen. Planet Fitness in Levittown is a small gym, but for 10$/month you are absolutely getting what you pay for. The staff members are friendly and you have everything you need to make whatever type of gains or weight loss that you need. Hopefully now youll be able to decide for yourself if Planet Fitness is the right gym for you. I wish all who read this review the best of luck in his/her goal of sculpting their bodies the way they want to look.

I went to Planet Fitness because I wanted to signed up for a Black Membership for a year. I withdrew cash to full pay for the whole year and I was turned away. They stated they needed both my account number and debit card number. I can not imagine a place that does not want your money, but they want free range to your bank account. The are many people in this world that do not have bank accounts (due to whatever financial situation they may have worked themselves in) and for a place to tell you they dont care if you are willing to full pay for a year they will not accept your money, but they want all your sensitive bank information is not only ridiculous, it shows the type of company you are dealing with. When I told my bank what happened they told me they constantly have people closing their account because Planet Fitness and how in this day and age giving out your account number is not a good idea. Please planet fitness tell me why wont you accept my cash and why do you need both my account and debt card number? #worsekindofbusiness

Horrible Experience. Ok so I was looking for a gym to go to and this was my first pick. Number one was how dirty the place is. I mean the entrance area was nice but then I went downstairs and that was taken away instantly. I understand why people go her because it is cheap and most likely convient for them. The staff looked like I was bothering them. They offererd no help at all except harassing me for the premium member ship and I didnt even sign up yet!!! You know what? Just go to UFC gym. At least they have the decency to clean the place and to be friendly and greet people as they walk in!!!

DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BANK ROUTING AND ACCOUNT NUMBER. Planet Fitness is a RIP OFF!!! They charge you 10.00 a month but, then even if you havent been a member for a year they charge you a 40.00 annual fee out of nowhere. I thought annual fee had meant at the end of 12 months but, no they charged me it in 5 months when I wasnt even going. They do not send emails or updates to let you know. Never sign the contract. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BANK ROUTING AND ACCOUNT NUMBER. IF YOU CANCEL THEY WILL CHARGE YOU A $50+ FEE!

I love this gym (especially after all of the rennovations). I always get a warm hello and goodbye from the staff. Everyone who works here is very pleasant. They have lots of cardio machines and weight machines. The only thing Planet Fitness lacks are barbells (they do have Smith machines, though). The gym is very clean. Ive never had a problem with the gym being too crowded. Parking is convenient and easy. If you need a gym thats inexpensive, convenient, and can still get a great workout in - go here!

Only thing I dont like is the fact that its next a buffet. It doesnt help when your working out and all you smell is fresh baked bread. I feel that Planet Fitness is trying to set us up for failure. Lol Im going to go to a different location. Besides that, I wish they had more weights but over all good and clean.

I find this place to be rather smelly and dirty but hey, I wont complain much as it is a gym after all. Dont expect to find state of the art equipment but for $10 per month, I guess you get what you pay for. Front desk folks are friendly and helpful.

I love going to Planet Fitness! Its always so comfortable, I am always able to use one of the machines. Its never crowded to the point where I cant get near a machine. The staff is so friendly and so wonderful!

I love Planet Fitness! Its so cheap and they have plenot of everything so you dont have to wait around ton use the equipment. The staff is always so friendly too. Great gym overall.

Its a great 41/mnth gym. The people who work there are terrific and you rarely have to wait for any piece of equipment. If you want more then that then go elsewhere and pay more.

I travel all over the states & new york has the most dirty gyms out of all the states & Levittown was the worst. I will never go back the bathrooms & showers. BAD

Every thing is clean but this particular location needs to work more on fixing problems with the downstairs portion of the property
