I recently enrolled as a member with the Cliffs and took up First Ascent Fitness on their offer of a free 30-minute evaluation. During that evaluation I couldnt do a single pull-up with decent form (unacceptable), so I signed up with Trevor on the spot. I spent the next 12 weeks working with Peter, and I cant sum up those weeks better than how First Ascent advertises their program: a true transformation. Listen to your trainer, put in the work, eat right and you will get very noticeable results even quicker than you think. I was originally interested in getting stronger/more fit to become better at bouldering, but I discovered with Peter how much I enjoyed lifting and calisthenic activities in themselves. I am in the best shape I have ever been in, and I can now do at least several pull ups with good form, which is technically like infinity % more pull-ups ;) Weightlifting was always something I had wanted to do but made excuses, or was afraid of dropping a barbell on my throat, but now I have the confidence and knowledge to really start achieving this life goal. Also, Peter is THE MAN. If you have the opportunity, work with him. Hell push you hard to get the results youre looking for, but youll do it with a smile on your face, learning and growing the entire time. Joining First Ascent is seriously one of the best, most rewarding decisions Ive made in my life. I cannot recommend Trevor and Peter highly enough.

This place is the best. I recently started climbing and have fallen in love with the sport. The physical training complements my climbing goals nicely and I feel that I am the fittest Ive ever been!
