About 15 plus years ago, I walked into Meccanic Shop North, in North Salem, NY and spoke to Anthony, the owner. I expressed how frustrating it was for me to deal with my local Honda and Mercedes Benz dealers in getting my cars serviced. I was assured by the owner, that they could not only service my vehicles but do it at an affordable price and with the detail and care I was looking for. 15 years later, I am still a customer and have never had any of my vehicles serviced at any other shop or automotive dealer. Over the years I have had three Honda Accords, and two Mercedes Benz vehicles serviced by Meccanic Shop North, and have been beyond pleased with each and every encounter with this company. Lorenzo is my go to contact and is not only remarkably knowledgeable about the details about each vehicle that I have serviced, but is a unique and caring person who understands the needs of the customer. My wife has had some difficulties on the road with her personal vehicle, and in an emergency had her car serviced at a dealership located in the Bronx. It was a simple repair of a flat tire. That simple task resulted in the tire being put on backwards, and resulted in other unimaginable problems. Since that incident, the car was returned to Meccanic Shop North to resolve the problem, and back to the professional and courteous service that we have been spoiled by. There is no other automotive shop that I would ever trust our vehicles with. As a member of the clergy, I without reserve recommend this outstanding company run by truly knowledgeable, caring and honest individuals to anyone looking for a return to a time when you could fully trust those who work on, in my case, vehicles that must work seamlessly daily. These guys go out of their way to provide fantastic service, and as a pastoral counselor, I like that in people I deal with. Meccanic Shop North is run by true professionals. This review is for the sales department only: Dont be fooled by the small-town-shop appearance, this guy has warehouses all over town and sells hundreds of cars a month to countries all over the world. Be prepared to pay the full asking price, or youll have a hard time getting the time of day. However, if youre looking for a "no pressure" environment, then this dealer may be your ideal situation: Youll have to find a salesman yourself (which may involve driving to an obscure warehouse miles down the road), youll show yourself around the car, forget about getting a test drive if its raining (theyd have to re-detail the car), and if you dont like the asking price you dont get the car. Clean and simple, but not my cup of tea.

Each one has been brought up-to-date and delivered in tip-top shape, Thoughtful service and good value characterized our experience during each of these transactions. We have had our other vehicles maintained, and repaired here. Lorenzo’s estimates were fair and his explanations of the work to be performed were clear, giving us confidence in the process and the outcome. Extremely accommodating and impeccable service at a great price. I get all my vehicles serviced here and without fail the service and the prices are always outstanding. I will not let any one else work on my cars and trucks. It is family owned business by semi-pro race car driver, and I have purchased at least one car from them and they helped me modify it into my own track car. I get treated like family there. They service both my BMW and my Dodge Ram truck with ease. These guys are the real deal. Look no further.

My experience is based on having my cars serviced here for the past 5 years. Cant speak to the car sales operation, as Ive never purchased a car from them. As a repair facility, they are honest, competent and reasonably priced (not cheap). I usually work with Lorenzo, who always treats me well working on my ancient Honda with 225k miles on it. I imagine he treats his customers who come in with classic Ferraris well too.

In my lifetime, I have never come across such a talented mechanic. When I have described car problems to other mechanics, they give advice or open up the hood and give an incorrect diagnosis. I call Lorenzo the doctor of cars. He takes the time to investigate with thoroughness to resolve the problem at a fair price. Hes a keeper.

Disappointed and way over charged to replace a cap for antifreeze reserve tank...to find out the tank was cracked and need to be replaced...it wasnt the cap and the cap that was replaced wasnt the correct one. Id stay clear of this shop unless youre ok paying for something you dont need.

Anthony, Lorenzo, Jason and the rest of the team are excellent. They have been taking care of my cars for at least 10 years. The work is done on time, It is done correctly with factory or better parts and the pricing is fair for the work performed. I would highly recommend them.

I have only had good experiences! They are professional and very responsive. They have helped me more times than I can count, including taking my call while stuck on the side of the road awaiting AAA, and fitting my car in for repair on short notice.

I had a flat on my BMW after hitting a pot hole, and they sorted me out in about an hour at a reasonable cost. Great service and friendly staff. I wouldnt hesitate to go back for any service needs.

These guys are not that cool I brought my wheel in for a tire repair and the guy was very offputting the whole time and charged me more than he originally implied. Would not reccomend
