Stay far far away. Sure the dancing is fun, but there are other studios in the area. Its WAY over priced for what is offered. Plus, there is some shady business practices going on. They will double charge you or say you owe back payment, even if you paid. The business really needs to be run better. There are other problems too. For example, the instructor would often change my lesson time at the last minute (i.e. an hour or two before the scheduled time) or just cancel completely. One time they forgot to call me and I showed up and my instructor was gone. Talk about annoying! Then to make matters worse most of the time the lesson would start late because the instructor was not ready and I wouldnt get that time back. The lessons are supposed to be 45 minutes, but I was lucky to get 30 minutes. For what I am paying I should receive a whole hour! Be warned too the group "practice" parties and other events are a joke! Youre lucky if you get one dance. Be prepared to spend your time standing and watching while the high paying competition students do all the dancing with the instructors. Favoritism runs high, its ridiculous! Save your money and put it towards something worthwhile.

My wife and I have been taking lessons at Fred Astaire for 2 years now and we absolutely love it. Yelena and William are top notch instructors. They make it fun and as challenging as you want it to be. The entire staff is wonderful and makes you feel right at home. From beginner to advanced, they have you covered. Our kids even take lessons as they have a wonderful kids program. Do not hesitate to try out this incredible experience. As for the one bad review, that was over 3 years ago with different management and instructors. The current management and instructors are absolutely wonderful.

The management and instructors at this location have all changed since the previous reviews and have nothing but the highest recommendations. Very sorry to hear there are people out there with bad experiences from this location but I can assure you there is no shady business or wrong doings going on at this location. I think this is just a person with malicious intent. The pricing is comparable to other studios in the area and many different packages to fit you budget. The new instructors and staff are excellent so dont be afraid to try dancing here!!!

I have been a student here for over 2 years and I love it! The instructors are superior in Buffalo and work with each students individuality to bring out their best! Ive witnessed first hand them working with all kinds of levels, experienced or not, young or mature this studio will exceed your expectations. I started off taking lessons to learn a dance for a contest and now I cant imagine life without my dance family in it! If youve ever considered ballroom, you will not be disappointed!

I bring my son to Fred Astaire for dance lessons. He loves learning to dance from them. They are always very friendly and caring with their students. The studio is very clean and welcoming. If you are looking to learn how to dance, this is an excellent place to start. The teachers are very attentive to the students style of learning and going at the pace of each student for individualization.
