In a business dominated by a fairly generic product (i.e. standard washers and dryers), what remains for a company to differentiate itself is its customer service model. In that regard, this company deserves the recognition of being the worst customer service company in the United States. Unfortunately, such accolades are reserved for well known retail companies such as Comcast, AT&T, and other familiar names. As a point of comparison however, both of the companies mentioned above provide immeasurably better customer service than CSC Serviceworks. No name could be more false than the innuendo that this "service" does in fact "work." After years of having Purchase College laundry managed by this organization, and with a record of over several hundred (last count 552*) unresolved service tickets within just the past year alone, we can only hope that no other establishment makes the mistake of using this company. [*This is only based on the number of reported complaints, of which undoubtedly there would exist innumerable unreported accounts as well] Issues include: - A reporting system that doesnt record the issues addressed with a machine to the correct machine. - Being called "liars" when we informed the company of several machines that were not operational. - Being provided with "brand new" machines to replace machines that were clearly past their projected lifespan for cycles with machines that were of inferior quality incapable of withstanding the volume of laundry for a residential dorm. - Washing machines that developed water accumulation with an incredible stench that were left unattended to for weeks. - Dryers that were left for weeks unable to dry clothing. - Dryers that were tearing up clothing, and although a procedure was in place to ask for reimbursement, the process took considerable time (2 months) in which time, the machine that torn the clothing was not attended to. Although the accounts begin to repeat themselves and sound quite similar, the trend was this: proper preventative maintenance was not performed on the machines, and machines that were broken took weeks to be addressed, if they were ever addressed at all. At one point, the VP of their company came to our campus and stated, "I didnt realize just how bad the situation was at your campus. Its absolutely unacceptable that the machines are in the state that theyre in." Unfortunately, even this observation resulted in little improvement to the laundry services on campus. If anyone would like a more detailed account of the issues we experienced, we have a binder full of material to provide you with. As of this present moment, the company has reduced service trips to our campus from twice a week to once a week without informing us, however, it is likely that the students/faculty/and staff residing on campus would notice no difference since the quality of service has neither improved nor diminished with the reduction in service. The students of Purchase College warrant a sincere apology from this company for the service they have provided them with. Sadly, I know that that apology will never come.

If you are a property owner or manager do not sign any contract with this company. I repeat do not do business with this company. I am currently a resident in queens apartment building that is "serviced" by coinmach. Firstly, the machines are ancient and still utilize quarters. When the machines are operational, the coin slides are consistently stuck. After repeated requests with the service department to have them fixed, no one can give you a resonable window of repair, you get, "a service request is open, a technician should be there in the next day or two". Once a machine goes down, service requests can take 3+ weeks to be resolved. I have alerted my buildings ownership group and get the blanket response, we are aware of this and are actively trying to terminate the contract. Of the two years I have been a resident in the building about 50% of the time 1/4 washers is unusable and 1/3 dryers. There is no accountability and none of their "managers" has ever made a return call after being promised someone will follow-up with me. Lastly, and the most frustrating thing, the dryers have a finite amount of quarters that can be held. Several times they have been "full" and unable to accept more quarters effectively paralyzing the machine. This business is so poorly run they cant even collect earnings in an organized fashion so their machines stay operational.

Horrible. This is the company that serviced laundry machines on my campus and they really sucked. Broke down all of the time, took them forever to get people to come in and when they did they complained that maybe we were just "overloading" the machines and causing them to break (most kids did not do gigantic loads). Rows of broken machines which led to a severe backlog of kids waiting to do laundry, even then the dryers sometimes took more than one cycle to get the clothes completely clean. Thank god they are leaving campus this semester; my tuition is better spent on another and more competent establishment.

This company does not provide any good customer service, have abused the trust and rights given to them by Purchase College, State University of New York, and have allowed their washing and dryer machines to go unfixed and broken for long periods of time. I advise anyone considering this company to never do so. They have violated their contract with the mentioned college repeatedly, to the point that as of the coming academic year they will not return to service the campus and for good reason. Do not let your staff or students suffer with terrible laundry services by utilizing this company.

The system is really frustrating and time consuming. I had to get a card from the laundry room, go back to my apartment to load money on card (you have to register card online to load), go all the way back down to the laundry room for the building code (because the system could not find my address online) and then....I could finally do laundry. This system would be a lot simpler if all of this were possible from their machines. I shouldnt have to return to my apartment twice to trudge through creating an account and finding the building code. Ridiculous.

If I could give zero stars I would! I have now spent 6 hours on 10 calls with "customer service" people as CSC to request compensation for damaged laundry. Month after month, our machines are broken and dirty. When we call for service, were always told the problems were fixed, but the problems are exactly the same again with the same machines. Ive asked our building management why they have a contract with this company. They must be the cheapest.

The worst company ever!! Submitted a Damaged clothes claim and it was denied the next day, without evidence. There reason was that the machine was not at fault. I kept all the items that were damaged, stained and burned to proof to this company. They never reach out to me or contact me or nothing, just denied the claim. Its unprofessional & carelessness the way they handle things. Be aware!!

Coinmach Service Corporation recently sent false documentation to me via email saying they fixed our machines, but did not in fact fix them. They are in a dispute with our apartments contract called WaterFall Apartments in Vidor, Texas at the moment. Theyve put the customer right in the middle of their dispute with the owner of the apartments about their contract with the apartments.

Most incompetent customer and service ever. I have asked SIX times over SIX months for a refund of $20 lost in a card machine and CSC keeps sending me cards that are not compatible with its OWN machines! Ive asked for a check instead the last three times but keep getting useless plastic. And repairs might as well be done with duct tape for all their sticking power. ...
