So, the other day, I decided I was going to put an ash tone dye into my very blonde hair. My hair turned out green, I looked like i crawled out of sewer, totally freaked out and cursing Loreal. I called X-S about hair color correction, they told me to come on down, because its consultation only, as every case can differ greatly. Now, Ive had bad experiences at other salons before so I was hesitant. I remembered that I had received several great haircuts from X-S over the years, from stylist Andra, but never went for color. To make a long story short, they transformed my moldy seaweed-y looking,and already over processed hair into shimmering, shiny, smooth, beautiful blonde hair! It took two days, but thats my fault, due to the amount of damage I had unleashed upon my hair. My colorist/stylist Lorena was awesome. She listened to my concerns and ideas, she talked me through it, and the end result is fantastic. In the two days I spent there, Everyone who received a service from them left smiling. XS Hair is as good as it gets. As a customer for for over ten years, I strongly recommend the staff that is attentive and talented, the salon that is modern and trendy, and the location that is near shopping rand excellent restaurants (Kneaded Bread, plus Mario Batali & Joe Bastianichs Tarry Lodge). I have many media appearances on TV and in magazines, most at short notice. Looks matter and quick service matters - XS Media meets the need. For brides and the wedding participants, I know the staff gives them extra attention on site or at destination locations. Oh, yes, we are treated to green tea or coffee while being pampered.

Ive been getting so many compliments since my appointment that I thought I should stop taking all the credit and pass on some appreciation to the person who is actually responsible for my fabulous new look... Thiago at X-S Hair Salon. My hair looks and feels fantastic. Im so very grateful to be in such capable hands. Thiagos advice was perfect. He is a true master of his trade!

I PASSED X-S HAIR ON MY WAY TO THE TARRY LODGE RESTAURANT AND I NEEDED MY HAIR DONE SD I WENT IN. THE STAFF THERE WERE VERY ACCOMMODATING AND I GOT A GREAT BLOWOUT BY ALMA. I GO EVERY WEEK FOR MY WEEKLY BLOWOUTS WITH HER AND I EVEN BROUGHT MY BOYFRIEND TO LARRY WHOSE SUPER WITH MENS HAIRCUTS. I AM A BIG FAN =)

I absolutely loved the balayage done by Magaly, she rock it both times the did it. She is amazing. I always cut my hair with Maria, she does exactly what I ask her to do all the times, I love her. I highly recommend both of them. Thank you girls, I am in love with my new hair style!!!!

This place to TERRIBLE!!! Not only is it dirty, the stylists do not know how to cut in a straught line and they do not listen to your instructions as to how you want your hair cut and styled. Stay away from this place!!!

the place was nice but the service was terrible. The stylist was rude and obnoxious and got mad at my girlfriend just because she wanted one more inch cut off her hair.
