ite Auto is an outstanding business, providing excellent vehicle repair and advice, with prompt service at a very fair price. As a testament to their reliability, they have been servicing my familys cars for over 20 years. I highly recommend them. The owners (Richie and Kevin) are extremely knowledgeable on all manner of auto-related items, and have provided me with excellent advice regarding my cars. Their work is very thorough, yet they have never performed unnecessary work. They always try to save me time any money by advising what work is needed right now, what can be deferred until later, or even not needed at all. Many times they have said to me: "You dont need to spend money on this - the car is just fine as it is. Well keep any eye on it, and check it next time you come in." Elite also delivers repairs on time and on-budget. Most service items are taken care of in one day - or less. On the rare occasion the car cant be finished in one day, they tell me ahead of time (at booking) then call, update me on the status of repairs and the exact reason for any delay. Overall, an high-quality business. I wouldnt take my cars anywhere else.

I have used Elite Auto for years - the work is uniformly excellent and reasonably priced. They are always honest and 100% reliable. Just recently I had an issue when I discovered a flat tire as I was leaving for a week long vacation. Intending to schedule an appointment for my return, I called them - but they told me it wasnt a great idea to let the car sit on a flat tire for a week. So while I was away, they came to my house, picked up the car, fixed the tire, and brought it back - and there is was, waiting for me upon my return. I cant imagine such good service anywhere else. Its important to me to have a mechanic that I can trust, as I dont know very much about cars. Kevin and Richie at Elite Auto are great. Theyre honest with me about whats going on with my car, what can wait to be fixed, and what needs to be fixed immediately. They also dont charge me for things like checking to see why my Check Engine light is on or testing my car to try to find out whats wrong with it. I know that a lot of other places would charge for such things, and I really appreciate it.

I went to Elite based on the many positive reviews here and Im so glad I took the recommendations! Tony and Richie have the most wonderful customer service skills. They clearly explained to me what my car needed, provided prompt and professional service, & they even waited late for me on a Friday night to make sure I had my car for the weekend. These guys are passionate about cars and it shows. My car is running great now and Im so happy to have found this reliable place!

We moved to Port Jefferson in August, making Elite a neighbor. Our friends Bob and Terri Arrigon recommended the technicians of ELITE which they have been using for decades. They were correct. The guys are great and thorough and the prices are reasonable. Donna is also nice. Five stars for sure. JIM
