What people are saying about excessive PRICING $$$$ IS TRUE!!! BEWARE!!! I wish my overall experience was better. Unforgettably I got the rotten apple in the bunch. My Surface pro 3 wouldnt power on. So I found these guys. All started well when I first stopped in. Charley was pleasant and seemed to know his stuff. Ive always been pretty good with computers, but this time I was stuck. I took it to Alphaurax were it was agreed $30 to diagnose the problem and If I used them for the fix that $30 would be waved. Long story short I was charged $107 for a 3rd party $30 charger and a very basic hard reset. Why was I charged $70 for a hard reset? I was told They needed to reset the computer and perform some updates. I agreed to it as they made it appear that what needed to be done was beyond a customers very basic understanding and ability. Yet any one could have done it!! I figured that out on my own after the fact. When I picked up my Surface pro I asked the Asian guy(I forget his name) that was servicing me "is there anything I can do myself if this problem happens again so I wont have to come back." Instead of telling me the very simple solution, he tells me if it happens again within 3 months bring it back no charge. It happened again within 2 weeks. When it happened the first time I tried to get it going to no avail. This time I decided to to try again using different methods than the first and BINGO! Hard reset with updates with the push of 3 very simple buttons and WOW this is what I was charged 70 bucks for that if it happens again bring it back to you guys because its so easy my niece can do it!! SCREW YOU!! And because of this I felt Alphaurax was mis leading withheld information and did not disclose or provide transparency with their services. I got the rotten apple.

A Korean guy working there charged me $30 to look inside a desktop and tell me that the motherboard was defect... then he wanted to order for me one that wasnt even the right socket. I would have ended up spending like 300-400 for a new mobo + processor. I asked a friend of mine for a second opinion and it turned out it was the processor cooler... which cost me 30 bucks! I could have used the money I gave that guy to buy the cooler from the beginning and save my time and effort.. While I was there I asked how much would be the installation of a motherboard - if I buy it myself, he told me 99$ -- what a ripoff! Thats more than at Microcenter (about $70). I feel really sorry for the gullible folks dont have anybody to look at their pcs or macs and go to these guys.

I hav to write a review. This place is one of the best businesses I have ever dealt with. And I wish it many more success. Everyone who enters this place must have some kind of stress, whether its computers, hard drives, or cable issues. My issue was big in my mind. When I walked in I felt a sense of calm, by the soft calming music, and the employee/managers calm approach that allowed me to stay calm and state my problem. He knew exactly how to help me and didnt over charge me or take advantage of me. He made my problem so simple and gave me exactly what I needed to help my situation. I am very happy and will be going here from now on. Excellent quality and professional.

Our computer was slow and full of adware and pop ups, the sound had stopped working as too. We were thinking that we might need to buy a new computer. I saw their computer repair sign on the sidewalk where they have the repair office on the 2nd floor. He quoted $55 to clean up and thought we would give it a try. The owner was very helpful, he knew right away which games my daughter had downloaded that had caused the problems. He cleaned it up and fixed the sound. So far the computer is as good as new. Its working great and it is much faster. The owner seemed honest and the price was more than fair. I will definitely be returning with any computer problems we may have.

my hp laptop was having very loud fan noise. I just let it be, b/c it works fine, until i watched a youtube video, my computer turned off and never able to turn in on. My friend recommended this repair place near me. I called and setup and appointment. They were able to help in right away. The tech diagnose my laptop and explained to me the problem. Basically it was overheating, and I should of get it taken care of before it fried the video chip. Anyway, they were able to get the video chip fixed. I dont need to buy a new computer big save $$$.

Honest, thorough, and reasonably priced. I went in to fix a shattered iPhone screen that wouldnt recognize a swipe anymore. They squeezed me in so I wouldnt be without my phone for the day. It turns out there was more to my problem, and he spent a chunk of his time the following day trying to diagnose the issue for me. He advised me on some possible solutions I could try on my own, and one of them did the trick! Ill be bringing all of my phone and computer repair work to AlphauraX from here on out.

Got a paper due, and my computer just died on me. I called around to see anyone could help me fix the darn thing and finally found Alphaurax Computer. They were able to find the problem and fixed it in a very short time. My hard drive in my MacbookPro was failing. they were able to get the new drive and copy all my data. Theyre very friendly and knowledgable. They saved my computer and my day. Great service and very reasonable price!!

Everytime i start up my computer it did disk repair. took very long time to do, was annoying. so i took it to Alphaurax computer to be checked. They found that 1 of the 4 hard drives is bad. All it needed to do is to remove it. Price is fair. although i could of remove the drive myself and save some money. but I could never find the problem in the first place. This place is professional and have the knowledge to do the job right.

I have used them 2 times in the past for my business. First time my computers wouldnt print nor scan from the printer. They send a tech to my office and got problem fixed and explained to me the cause of the issue. And what to do if it ever happen again. My desktop got an virus and they also get ripped of it.
