I have a foreign car...FIAT ....Syosset Auto Repair is wonderful.... I had a bad experience with the FIAT dealer who is in reality Chrysler....rip offs, not honest, etc etc. I stumbled upon SYOSSET TIRE AND AUTO REPAIR.... have my car serviced for nearly 3 years. I just trust them. Thats it! AND the cost factor are gentle. I am self sustaining, dont have much money Steve has been nothing other than accommodating and the crew are great. want a negative? only one i could think of is there were grease prints on my steering wheel along with untidy mats and know what.? Steve offered to have the car cleaned and detailed in response with his complete apologies. I will continue to use Syosset whatever car i get in the future, domestic, or international because simply ..I TRUST THEM. I just trust them ...Great shop. I was leary on presenting a great review because I dont want them to become busier! I will have to wait longer lol.

I asked for an oil and filter change, tire rotation and balancing. However, their lifts were busy so they took a short cut and inserted a tube through oil inlet to pump the oil out, instead of opening the drain at the bottom of the engine to let the oil flow out. This is a typical comment from mechanics. "Suck out the oil and much of the dirt stays behind, immediately contaminating the fresh oil and defeating the whole purpose of the oil change." They do it all the time according a kid who works there. I wonder what other shortcuts they took that I didnt catch. Ill never go back. I felt cheated and soiled.

Terrible. I went a year ago and they told me new tires I really did not need but foolishly bought anyways. The worst part is I found out later they mounted and balanced them completely WRONG. I went to a better place with better machinery, and had it done CORRECTLY. They ended up costing me $85 for their stupid mistakes. And on top of all that, they are rude. I called in to make an appointment and when I showed up I waited a half hour and no one spoke to me or anything. Do not go to. Avoid like the plague.

Terrible service liars and rip pff . Ill never go here again I went to get my AC fixed and they didnt do nothing. Second visit even worse. After spending allot of money I still have no AC. And to make it better they forget to put the plug in while changing your oil. Worst place Ive ever been too. And thieves they make up so many excuses. Why do ppl go here I never will

I have had my last three cars serviced by Syosset Tire, and they consistently deliver on time and at a fair price. I had an electrical issue on a Volvo XC90 and brought it to Volvo who wanted more than $2000 to fix - Syosset Tire was able to get the same part and perform the same repair for under $1000. I would highly recommend them!

I brought my car here a few times, thought i was getting a good deal until i found it that Steve (manager) has been charging me more than I agreed or signed. He tells me how much service is and shows me a receipt but then runs my credit card for almost double! I thought they were trustworthy.

For anyone looking for an automotive place that is honest, professional, and reliable......Syosset Tire rocks!! No need to go to corporate chains. These guys know their stuff and not looking to overcharge for nonsense. Highly recommended.

I believed I needed a new tire. I went in, and told them I thought I needed a new tire. They told me I did not. I respected that. I then took my car in for repair, and the job was done very well at a reasonable price. I recommend them.

Make sure you ask for a quote first before you have work done. They are sometimes too expensive. Other than that, Steve is an honest guy and the work is satisfactory. Oil changes are questionable here.

Steve is a great guy. He never turns you away and does his best to get you right in for smaller things like oil changes, inspections, tire repairs, etc. Hes always up front and has never steered me wrong.

These guys have been around for years. You can drive up any time with a flat or slow leak to be repaired which i have done on more than 1 occassion and they get you right in and out within 15-,20 minutes.
