Staff is completely unprofessional. They lost my package and rather than offer to help, Debra McDowell, aka Lily pad, was quick to say it was my fault for waiting until the last minute to order my goods and services from a vendor that shipped via USPS. Not only was she out of line and utterly rude, she continued to put blame on me rather than admit they are at fault. She yelled that "priority mail is not guaranteed!" Well then why is it called "Priority" Debra? Isnt it at the very least guaranteed to reach its destination, or is that wishful thinking? Getting my package on a specific day was not the issue at hand, simply getting my package is. Especially when tracking has listed the package as ready for pickup for two days now.

No rain, No sleet, No snow, delivery evidently does not apply to the Wading River NY post office. Today Jan. 2nd, 2010 there was 2 inches of snow on the ground and as I expected no mail delivery, the flag on the mail box was up, I had mail to be picked up and I was expecting some important mail, I also checked with my neighbors it confirmed that our mail delivery did not take place, this is not the first time that this happen, as I remember it happen several times in the past, I do not expect to have mail delivery if the weather conditions are really bad, but today with 2" of snow and the roads plowed?? What a joke, Shame on you

Not long ago I paid almost $30 to have a very important letter sent through FedEx, only to have them loose it & say to bad. On 1/22/10 I went to Wading River PO & paid $30 to send the same important document specifically to be there BY MONDAY 1/25/10 before 3pm. Well here it is Tues 1/26/10 @ 1:45pm and I am told it is still in transit. I can go get a refund. WOW..I am so glad I can trust the USPS to GET MY MAIL WHERE I PAID FOR IT TO GO ON TIME..Great job guys. If I am evicted due to this. I will see you in court.

Rude and unprofessional staff and lousy service at this post office. Our mail woman is always delivering make late and is so lazy! Several incidents I can think of.

It can take up to 2 weeks to get your mail. They really are snail mail.
