As a business owner I try to avoid going to the US Post Office as much as possible. Its comparable to going to the DMV at this particular office. The front counter staff about 90% of them are rude and move very slowly as if we are on "their" schedule. I needed about 14" of tape for the top of a box and I politely asked the counter person if I could use his tape. He stated "you can buy the tape on the wall" I walked out and my fiance walked in with the same box and he did tape the box for her...Please by all means do most of your postal transactions online or via UPS. I can not stand when FedEx gets a package and transfers it to USPS via smart post. The US Postal system is outdated and unreliable...

I called the Post Office to check on a certified letter that was mailed back in Jan,2013, I was first put on hold for about 15 mins. so I kept calling back no one answered the phone, so finally I got someone on the phone after 4 tries, so the lady I spoke to was very very unprofessional, I am telling her that I dont want the letter redelivered, she talking all over me, so I said to her,Can I speak I said I understand the procedures etc. 1st delivery 2nd delivery final etc.my point is, they need to hire people that can speak plain english and understand what the customers is telling them, rather than talking all over them.

Terrible service. I only asked a question to see if my package was at the office so I can pick it up myself and the lady currently has me on hold for 15minutes and counting! Seriously?! The store closes at 12 and I think shes willing to let me wait until its too late. Please get some workers that dont have issues helping customers because this is ridiculous.

Garbage service and outright rude employees. Save yourself a headache and just go to the one in Orange where they are much more customer oriented, polite, and a whole heck of a lot faster. Everything about going to the Allingtown post office stinks, even their parking lot, and its been like this for 20 years. Doesnt seem like its ever going to get better.

crappy service, every time my mail is delivered they stuff it into the box with no regard to condition it will be in the mail carrier has destroyed several letters by closing the box and jamming my mail in the lock so when i retrieve my mail it tears.and recently they removed my name from the box and put a vacant label in the slot

Filled out hold mail form to hold mail 7/22 deliver 7/29. They held it from 7/15 to 7/29. Wasnt delivered on 7/29. Phone calls impossible. On hold 15 min at a time with no answer. 5 pm 7/31 still no mail. Post office sucks. Rate it -10.

Horrible service. Very rude to me. Treated me very poorly when asking simple questions. When i called no one answered and when the person finally did answer she hung up before i even had the chance to explain what i needed.

One old lad there messed up our change of address form so we lost lots of mails and waited over a month to fix it after going there many times Also calling them and expecting a service is not possible

Doesnt answer their phones and has horrible service. They will have one person helping a line of 10 customers while 10 employees sit around in the back. Wasted tax dollars.
