I normally do not post reviews, but I had to on this post office. When you think of a US Post Office, you would think that the employees would at least try; they are working for the US Post Office for goodness sakes!! They lines are always very long, and this is not because of the amount of people that come in, it is because of the employees, they are very slow, and at times it looks like they are purposely slow. They lack complete efficiency and motivation. I have been to quite a few post offices in CT, and this is by far one of the worst Post Offices I have ever been to. In addition to the issues with the employees and management, the other serious issue is the Kiosk machine. Some users do not use this machine, but there are many of us that do. Whether it is because we work different hours, or because we do not want to experience the terrible customer service, or shall I say, the lack of, the Kiosk never works there. It is out of service daily. Yet they have a large sign outside of their business advertising 24/7 Kiosk machine. When complaints are made about the Kiosk, the staff members begin preaching about how customers should not use it and how it will take their jobs away. There are serious management issues here. I highly recommend going to the UPS store down the street or finding another Post Office nearby.
