I dont have the need to go to the post office often but when I am going, I go to the branch in Bloomfield even though I live in the next town over and actually right by a branch here. The people in the Bloomfield branch are pleasant and efficient. They can handle multiple things at one time and weave people in and out of line as necessary. I have been in other branches where I have waited again and again for someone to fill out a form. The people at the Bloomfield branch direct someone who needs to fill out paperwork to a side counter and then the staff member continues transactions with the other patrons in line until the form is filled out. The last time this happened, three people in line concluded their business while the other person filled out the necessary form. I have also noticed that the staff are very pleasant and nice to the many older patrons. They dont rush them and they dont patronize them. In short, the employees are professional and have common sense. It is worth the drive!

This is by FAR the best post office staff around. They are always kind, courteous and make the overall experience of having to go to the post office a pleasant one. Most post office staff seem to hate their jobs, but this one has such great people working at it. I cant say enough about how much they are appreciated.

I overnighted a letter to Bloomfield and it was to arrive by noon. It arrived just before 11AM and cant tell you how important that extra hour turned out to be, so I will simply shout THANK YOU! THANK YOU! You are being gratefully appreciated <3
